Could you notice any difference in SERPs or Backlinks?

1. Can you prove 100% it was from this because I haven't gotten anything from this at all.

2. Are you running really good protection on your PC? If you are wanting to use automation tools like this, you should be. That's basic knowledge.

They are not useless because these types of links are indexed rather easily.

Not ranked now, indexed.

Not all links will get indexed.

You need to remember that creating links doesn't get them indexed. You need to promote them. Ping them, create an RSS feed from them and ping that as well. You can then blast that with some bookmarks if you wanted to although for these types of links, it may not be worth it. Just create them, do some minor promotion, and move on

Finally, just because a links doesn't show up as a backlink to your site when you are checking does not mean it is not there.

Sure thing, but these links are completely worthless. Pinging won't get them indexed and bookmarking / creating rss feed is truely not worth the effort. Imo the is (and can't be) a one-click-boost-my-backlinks solution.

Which is why I said "it may not be worth it. Just create them, do some minor promotion, and move on."

And while these links aren't the best quality, they still are not worthless. I have used links like this to help boost sites and get them ranked within hours.

They serve a purpose for helping your site(s) get indexed quickly. And pinging does help speed up this process even further because you are notifying the SEs of these new links to your site.

Very basic stuff here, but in the right hands, it serves it's purpose which is, again, quick indexing of your other sites.

@ Tarek -This is false. These types of links are best for helping to give newer sites a boost in backlinks and helping to get your site indexed quickly. You can point them at older sites, but they won't do to much for as far as rankings.

If Google did not notice them, they would not help with getting newer sites ranked.

Just because the links themselves aren't showing up in a backlink checker tool immediately or ever, that does not mean the link does not exist.

Google is the worst place for checking backlinks because they filter their results very heavily and only show what they want. If you check Google to see how many backlinks they saythey have to themselves, it is only 18,500.

Yahoo site explorer is probably one of the most accurate, but not 100%.

The bottom line is that, although not the best types of links, these links do have a small purpose and should not be discounted.
