How to fix Dalle 3 api generations issues in Microsoft Azure

whenever I use dalle3 api I get this error: Error occurred when calling image API: No added Azure deployment found for image model: dall-e-3 - you need to add this model in your Azure Portal as a Deployment --

But when I try to use dalle3 in playground it works.

If I deploy dalle2 it works flawlessly, only the output are terrible.

I have tried to delete and deploy dall3, unfortunately it did not work at all

Do you have any solutions for me please?

Are you using the proper resource name and deployment name and API version?

Send a POST request to the below URL

https://<your_resource_name>.openai.azure.com/openai/deployments/<your_deployment_name>/images/generations?api-version=2024-02-01

<your_resource_name> - Your Resource URL where your Dall-E-3 model is deployed
<your_deployment_name> - Your proper deployment name (not the model version)
api-version - The API version you're using

You can use Postman to send the request

In the header tab, add two headers -

1. Key: Content-Type | Value: application/json
2. Key: api-key | Value: your-api-key

In the body tab, click on "Raw" and then select "JSON"

I have found the issue, I have checked the models and even the dalle2 which used to be available is now N/A. As screen:

As per the Dall-E-3 availability, it is currently available only in australiaeast, eastus and swedencentral

Please ensure your resource is created in one of the above Azure regions.

I have tried all three and all of them show N/A.
When I was writing this thread in region eastus I have deployed dalle2, and it worked, but now also dalle2 is N/a

This looks like a very account specific problem mate. I tried in my account and I could receive response on both Dall-E-2 and 3.

Can you check your email to ensure you haven't received some communication on your email?

This is stupid, but has worked for me in the past. Can you clear your browser cache and cookies, login again, then try creating a new resource (after deleting any existing ones)

If nothing else works, go to your OpenAI service and click on "Support + Troubleshooting" and fill in the form. They are very quick to respond.

Unfortunately it did not work. I have signed up for 29$ a month plan to be able to connect with support. Hopefully they wont ban my account....
Anyway, do you have any idea if I will be able after one month to go to the basic plan? So I don't have to pay for support?

Yes, you can change the plan to basic. First stop auto renewal. Then go and click "Change" below "Basic"

Unfortunately not yet. They classes it as not severe issue, so I guess it is not priority for them. Hopefully they will reply soon, otherwise I have kind of useless acc.

I got few replies, but no real fix and in last email they told me it is all good with my acc. So I am stucked
