Hello Everyone,

I intend to create an LLC in Wyoming with Northwestregisteredagent as a foreigner non US resident.

In addition to the initial LLC creation, I would like to know what are additional or recurring expenses I should be expecting to pay for an LLC.

Ex: annual fillings, virtual office, etc ...

The reason I'm asking this is because it's my first time creating an LLC, so I want to have a clear idea of what lies ahead.

Thank you

My partner is a US citizen and with his help and Dr Google, I have uncovered this information for you:

Recurring costs for a Wyoming LLC include the Annual Report Fee of $50 or $0.0002 per dollar of assets in Wyoming, whichever is higher, and the Registered Agent Fee, which is typically around $125 annually for services like Northwest Registered Agent. If you opt for a Virtual Office or Business Address, expect to pay $10 to $50+ per month. Additionally, while Wyoming doesn’t impose state income taxes, you may have Federal Tax Filing obligations, with tax preparation fees ranging from $300 to $1,000 annually if you hire a professional. Other optional expenses include Bookkeeping or Accounting Services, which can range from $20 per month for software to several hundred dollars for professional help, and Banking Fees, depending on the terms of your U.S. business bank account. Depending on your industry, you might also incur costs for renewing business licenses or permits annually.

Thank you so much.

That's exactly what I found out:
  1. Boir file report (no longer mandatory)
  2. Wyoming LLC Annual Report
  3. Form 5472 (Information Return) - Federal tax
  4. Form 1120 (Pro Forma Filing) - Federal tax
  5. Registered Agent Renewal

I don't use a virtual office, so not sure about that. But it cost me like $130 to set up the LLC and $25/year for the annual filing. The annual filing is just a few questions and can be completed in less than 10 minutes online. It's pretty simple.

which jurisdiction? Delaware?
How about the registered agent cost?

Just hire your butthole an accountant, and tell them you have a company setup. Tell you your obligations, and what they do for you in basic compliance and submissions yearly. Once you know everything, you can relax and go make money, and just submit your credits and debits to your accountant. As an example. I just submit mine, with a confirmed bank transaction sheet, and they match up everything, so the accounts, and submit the forms. Thats what I pay a reasonable amount of money for. As an entrepreneur, your job is to know who to ask for the form information you need. Using google and chatgpt will give you rough guide, but you can't put your mind at ease and hussle till you know the exacts. Hire one for a few hundred bucks a year, and you'll never take them off the payroll! lol

Thank you for your explicit answer man

When you say that you submit a "bank transaction sheet" ,and it matches up, matches up with what exactly?

Definitely agree with this. If you can afford an accountant to take care of everything for you, it will make everything less stressful and allow you to concentrate on building the business.

Your spreadsheet of debits and credits that you record as your own records matches up with your bank statement, and everything has a receipt. Just a simple spreadsheet, with the date, type of transaction, and name of the company, and then confirmed bank statement match.

Good question — besides the initial LLC formation, the main recurring costs are usually the $60 Wyoming annual report fee and the registered agent renewal (around $50–$125/year depending on the provider). If you use extra services like a virtual office, mail forwarding, bookkeeping, or tax filing, those are optional and can add additional yearly costs. For foreign owners, you may also need to file IRS forms each year, so some people hire a CPA for that.
