Have you heard of dropshipping?

It’s where you sell products online without keeping them yourself. Instead, you order them from a supplier when a customer buys something. Reverse dropshipping is a twist on that. Instead of selling things from China or India to the US, you’d sell things made in the US to people in China!

Why is it Interesting?

There are few reasons this might be cool;
  • Higher Profits: Products made in the US might be seen as higher quality in China, so you could sell them for more money.
  • Less Competition: Not as many people are doing this yet, so you might have a better chance of success.
  • Unique Products: You could find cool American things to sell that people in China can’t easily get.

Is it easy?

There are some challenges too;
  • Finding Suppliers: It might be harder to find companies in the US willing to do reverse dropshipping.
  • Marketing: You’d need to figure out how to reach customers in China and convince them to buy from you.
  • Rules and Fees: Different countries have different rules about selling things online. You’d need to make sure you understand them.

Should You Try It?
If you’re just starting with online business, regular dropshipping might be easier. But if you’re up for a challenge and we have a good idea for a product, reverse dropshipping could be a cool option!

I like how this highlights both the opportunities and challenges. It shows that with the right strategy, reverse dropshipping could be very rewarding!

But, I have a few questions:

1) how do you figure out the right audience in the chinese market considering the massive price differences?
2) How do pitch the suppliers in the US for reverse drop shipping?

Thanks!

Won’t work. China can make anything they want and have it in abundance. They don’t need American shitty products
Exactly
Why the hell a chinese would pay 5X more to have an american product? Lmao

The made in america item would still have a very hard time matching the price of the similar made in china item

You can figure right audience for your choosing product through Marketing research.

You just need to connect the supplier to your website.

It will be very in if we could discuss better at inbox.
