How to Handle Harassment and Defamation on Facebook?

Hi everyone,

I’m dealing with a difficult situation: a fake account on Facebook has been posting my photos, full name, and false accusations of fraud. Even worse, they’re offering a reward, which puts my safety at risk.

I’ve sent emails to [email protected] and [email protected], and I’ve reported the posts, but I haven’t received any response.

Has anyone here experienced something similar? What steps did you take to resolve it? Do you know of any more effective methods or direct contacts at Meta?

I’d appreciate any advice or experiences you can share.

Damn, it's awful to be in that situation.

You might try contacting local authorities if safety is at risk, and staying persistent with Facebook’s support should eventually lead to a resolution.

I am usually not a big fan of playing dirty, but if someone targets me or crosses the line and puts my family at risk I lose it. If you can, mass report the accounts, but don't stop at that.
If someone is threatening you, I'd advise you do the same and make sure the little fucker regrets he was born.

Share the account in groups where you're loved, and mass report. It’s often faster than waiting for Facebook’s resolution process.

You should also contact the police in order to be on the safe side. Obviously whoever does this to you is an enemy of yours and you should think of your own safety.
