Made a Spotify Bot Farm

After last update, I have been trying different ways and discovered that there is a limit of streams that I can give per account/IP to the same artist.
Also this number is different if the artist I am trying to boost is a new one (my bs artist profile). Or a real one that has 1000+ listeners and some organic following.
The limit for new artists is around 60-70.
The limit for more consolidated artists is bigger.

I see that the way of making money with this is giving a small number of views per account/IP to each artist and have a big set of artists, so I am planning to pivot a little bit the business model.
I am going to find people who want to use the bot and I am going to give 50 to 70 views with each bot account to each of them.
This way the bot accounts should not be banned.
I am going to start just with one account as I have to pay for proxies so until I generate money I don´t want to spend much.

Because I know that a lot of people in the forum is trying to scam others I will start offering this for free and only charging when they generate money.

I already contacted some people around here to start with a test operation.

I don't reccomand you to bot on your main account unless you are really popular and already make a ton of organic traffic. If you dont have organic traffic you will end up getting banned

Would you be interested in a distro account creator? Just have multiple artists with multiple songs you can distribute the streams

Hey there, you need to start using the multi quote feature to reply to everyone in one post, as making individual responses could be seen as post count inflation and is against the rules.

I am still testing it with my own accounts and some volunteers that I found in the forum, as long as I keep it below 60 per IP no bans are happening, I think there is only a risk if they detect non human behaviour or if you do crazy stuff like listening to the same song 100 times.
But anyway I think I will need to make it work for few months this way to know.

I could be interested in the distro account creator, the cost of the distros plus the amount of time and annoyance of setting up every new artist is what makes my current business model fall apart.

That's great, I'm sure that is your intention but regardless of if you think its best or not, its the rules so you can either start doing it or possibly get a warning from the moderators. Just an FYI. Good luck with your bot farm

I am going to be posting all my experience and conclusions here.
I also have the system now and I have implemented a queue message receiver to execute sequences of orders coming from an external program.
My next step was going to be a program that creates accounts with certain personalities and takes decisions about what to listen, search, save (but always giving views to the desire artists).
But before going for that, I need to make sure that I can successfully run just few accounts (programming their instructions every day manually). And that I don´t get banned and also can get the profit margins higher than the costs.
If I ever reach that point, I guess our queue message senders would be exchangeable as long as we follow the same protocol.

Looking at your situation, I guess the first questions are:
Is Spotify detecting your browser automated by Appium?
This goes the same way for me with selenium as you can read what the guy on the previous comment said.

What are your stream limits from a phone?
For what I did now, my hypothesis is that I got blocked because of giving too many streams to the same artist during several days.
There may be a different limit for phones.

I have been the last months developing a Spotify bot farm.
I used python + selenium
The bot is not just playing a song or playlist in a dumb way, I created an interface that has most of the operations that you can do in Spotify like create account, search artist, song, playlist, album... create playlists, change their names, add songs to a playlist, remove them, add songs and artists to favourites, pause the audio and restart it...

Every action is done in a way that resembles human behaviour, for example the search function writes char by char with a human like cadence and stops when the desired result appears on the Top Result.
It also uses one proxy for each account to have a different IP.

I also created a huge battery of unitests and integration tests so I can easily know when Spotify changes something and where to fix it.

I created 1 bs artist with TuneCore and I released an album, I am testing the first bot and it seems to be working fine.

The big challenge is how to generate profit over the costs of setting up everything.
Taking in account that the proxy service is around 1.6€ per month and that the distro for one artist is 23€/ year add then the electrical cost of running the 2 or 3 hours each day there is not much margin to operate.
I calculate that my bot needs to be giving around 40 streams per day to my artist to generate just enough to cover the costs.
One account listening to the same artist 40+ songs a day sounds suspicious to me.

Do you know how to overcome this issue?

For now I want to try:

- Go for the 40+ streams a day and see what happens, still alternate it with listening to other artists, change between listening playlists, albums, songs, put my songs on playlists mixed with other songs and overplay them.
- Try more than one account on the same proxy to make cost cheaper and see if it triggers a ban or not.
- Change the business model, instead of giving the views to my artists find artists who want to team up and go 50/50, that way I don´t have to worry about the cost of the distros and I can give views to different artists so my account is not suspicious.
- Buy proxies from the best paying countries so I maximize payments and need less views.
