Hello, I have an old YouTube channel and the shorts I post remain at 0 views. If there are 1-2 views, I will continue, but only having 0 views confuses me. Am I doing something wrong?
Are their strikes on the channel ?Hello, I have an old YouTube channel and the shorts I post remain at 0 views. If there are 1-2 views, I will continue, but only having 0 views confuses me. Am I doing something wrong?
no is clearAre their strikes on the channel ?
so 0 views is normal ?That is normal if you just "re"started posting videos. Just wait 1 or 2 weeks while continually posting videos daily. Yt bot only recognize old channels with existing videos or at least 1 short or long form.
1. Often overlooked and great advice for every upload on every site/social media! Seperate words by underscore or hyphen and have same phrase they will search for.Getting 0 views in the beginning of your journey is normal, youtube isn't sure on who to promote your video to.
To have better chances at getting views and letting youtube know who to push your videos to you could:
1. Edit the files name to something that is similar to the video title itself. Do not upload video files that are named "Project 1/2/3..." "untitled" etc'.
2. Edit the metadata in your video files, and a short description in the "comments" section of the file and add tags in the "tags" section of the file.
3. Use youtube tags but do not overdo it, the sweet spot is around ~300 characters.
4. Use 3-5 hashtags in the description.
5. Make sure your thumbnails are eye-catching, something that will incentivize a viewer to click on your video.
6. Keep going and don't give up, building a foundation is the hardest part of growing a youtube channel.
