Is Academia edu a good do follow backlink site?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if academia.edu is good? I searched many competitors and some of them literally had a list of 50 links. They surpass some of the sites i have.

it used to be a good link some (3-4) years ago when I checked, not sure about it today.... but I assume that if it's in content and if it's DF like you say then it's worth something as google tends to like .edu links

Definetly, .edu links are trusted and valuable on Google. It's beneficial to have a few links from edu sites, but too many can appear unnatural and may trigger spam filters. Balance is key!

when i open the opensource it doesnt no follow somewhere. Idk
