Hi guys,

Do you guys see any fluctuations in ranking for the Google Nov Core Update? Although it is still being rolling out now.

I believe if a website content is generated by AI it will get affected by this update. What is your take?

Thanks.

Regards
Kean

What I have observed is that the Google November Core Update focuses on high quality, user focused content and emphasises E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authority, Trustworthiness).
It is not specifically targeting AI generated content but rather prioritising valuable content. Pages with low value content are being deindexed to improve search result relevance.

Yes I do agree with @MajestySEO the recent Google update mainly focus on User experience and the quality of information a content provide in simple terms EEAT factors.

if you think the update is about AI content, you are defo wrong here. I basically only use AI content on a few of my ecommerce website blogs and it's skyrocketed.

Although i don't just generate articles and post them up, i don't also mass produce them.

i average 3-8 arcticles a day with human editing and give the users what they want. google likes AI content if it's for the user and is helpful!

I haven't seen any difference on my website. And I use A.I. for some (not all) of my posts.

My blog site is based on multi-niche like business, finance, legal and insurance. How can I maintain EEAT Factor on my site?

still~ mobile and web UI is the main effect, article and Ai written only affect the third and forth steps.
get what is count of score

Google is continuously adding updates to suppress pure AI content, so make sure to humanize content, make it helpful for users.
and i see that in recent November updates they have again favoring high DA sites, so don't forget to add quality backlinks on regular basis.
Expired domains are also doing well after these updates

Google's November 2024 Core Update, launched on November 11, emphasizes providing high-quality, helpful content globally. It's not a penalty system, but it rewards well-optimized pages. In this update, user-first content is emphasized across all languages and industries. To navigate the changes effectively, websites should focus on meaningful improvements aligned with long-term user value

Google's November 2024 Core Update, which began rolling out on November 11, aims to improve the quality of search results by prioritizing useful, people-first content over content designed solely to rank well in search engines. The update will take about two weeks to fully roll out, and its impact may vary depending on a site's content quality and relevance.

Key aspects of the update include:

  1. Focus on Quality Content: Google continues its emphasis on high-quality, helpful content. Websites focused on providing unique, valuable information are likely to benefit.
  2. Monitoring Performance: It’s crucial to track changes in rankings and traffic using tools like Google Search Console and analytics platforms. Observe any ranking fluctuations and determine if your content needs adjustments.
  3. Recommendations for Impacted Sites: Google suggests not making hasty changes. Instead, focus on improving content relevance, enhancing user experience (UX), and ensuring technical SEO is robust. Avoid deleting content unless it is outdated or no longer useful.
If your site experiences ranking drops, it doesn’t necessarily indicate an issue with your site. These updates are often a "refresh" of rankings based on Google's latest algorithmic standards, so continued focus on creating helpful content is key.

Traffic dropped a bit but has recovered, I thought the update was complete?

I don't think it matters whether the content is human written or Ai generated as long as one provides quality content that provides value and adds to the experience. I've seen some people's entirely AI generated blogs bloom with traffic after this update

Yes cool....now do the exact opposite of what G says if you want to rank.

My home page of site was deindexed while other pages stayed same so random. The guy who spams my keywords with 10+ websites faking authority has stayed they same at the same time of recent.

Generic answer as always from Google.

I don't understand this last years updates. Spent $20k this year on products to test. Site has a 90/90/90 score mobile and close to 100 across the board desktop. Its easy to navigate, unique self made images. I have 10+ years of experience in the field, like real technical hands on working with the actual products and advising my local government. I've done the sourcing, Quality control, testing, and even selling these products before. Yet sept 23 I got slammed, got slammed again in march, and again in august. No difference in Nov update.
I have multiple other sites, no issues there. But this one that should have more EEAT than anything else I've done in my life. Content is above and beyond anything else you find out there. 50% of the questions I ask Chatgpt/claude or whoever about this niche. Leaves my website as part of the source to the answers. (I literally been working with this together with my dad growing up from the age of 3, and I am pushing 40). Fun fact is I haven't built any links or pbns to this site either. Perhaps that's what I am doing wrong. I've got some incoming outreach links where I offered my expertise on a few posts to see if that can start the heart of this site again. But it is clearly a site-wide slam as nothing except like 3 articles are getting at least 5-10 impressions combined a day.

Meanwhile Bing, Duckduckgo, Yahoo and the Ai's are sending me more and more traffic over the year. Also setting up a Youtube channel to produce videos in the hopes that it will generate some more good will. But fucking demoralizing that I can tell you!
