Where is it worth hiring (Freelancers)?

While I haven't found a use yet to hire full time with my available resources, I want to get around to it. So, I am looking at freelance projects I have hired for and ones I will:

Appointment Setter - Full Time
General VA (Software Operations) - Full Time
Outreach Coordination aka "Email Corresponder" - Part Time-Full Time
WP Web Dev (I also make)
Group Poster
SEO VA
*Article writer
Things I probably should hire out:
PPC (Have done, yet maybe others can do it more efficiently?)
Video Production (Doing myself one day because other people quote high for this)
Social Media Management (Definitely need)


Production mainly; the more leads the better. I do not need full time creatives person yet. The amounts some five-star vendors sell for is much less than domestically. I wish it were different except if I go to a service provider in California for anything they are charging a lot. I have quiz plugin now that is good for prequalifying leads so I may be using it, quality over quantity here.

Labor costs: Foreign $3 | USA Local $22/HR + Benefits (Sought by competent people here)

From a USA business owners prospective where is the incentive to hire US workers? I say this because I see foreign SEO agencies messaging me saying they can also have their services written off on taxes. So, I could hire 5 freelancers who I can change out without whining or I could have 1 (possibly crap) assistant that wants job security and so forth. I now see why USA has been on decline since the emergence of the internet. I am taking advantage of cheap freelancers and have a deep tech stack. Show me more value local US sellers and I'll show you, my dollars. USA peaked like 2004 I think, everything needs price corrections, real estate especially.

Life is not fair, workers in USA have been on the losing side of things for 20+ years with stagnant wages, no bonuses or anything like the 90s/80s. Thats why I recommend more people do business for themselves and find good niches. I even started website recently listing methods, opportunities and software lately to help business owners. If you own a website even, you could be considered a businessperson.

Yeah, AI/Automation/Robotics is going to be the next wave and its already here. By using this tech in your own business, you do not just own the jobs of your former employees, but automated processes. While your lazy former employees eat ice cream on cushions collecting guaranteed income in the future we will be working "bigger picture" projects.

Uffff $3 per hour? Geez, I saw US company looking for VAs in Facebook group (mostly philipino VAs there) for $10 per hour and I got pissed because I can get that much from polish clients. As in, they don't pay more than in central/eastern Europe, so why apply... But you officially overcompeted that company on low pricing lol. It literally makes more sense to sit on your ass doing nothing than to do any work.

That's just the rate of some of my workers, what they charge for their services as freelancers. I have hired at $2 before, I have seen as low as 50 cent workers on platforms. If people are working for low amounts then I find their listings on say Fiverr and hire. Though I have hired on Craigslist Philippine's before too. Not to say I would not hire a assistant locally for $22 a hour, its just right now in my situation I would rather have 2-5 freelancers working projects than one extra person that has to be managed. I pay out big on software, but labor I mainly seek freelancers thus far. Managing people is a pain, I have B.S. degree in it, yet still I value people who can work without checking in every 15 minutes and eating my time with needed corrections. I do not intend on being a micromanager. I would pay $10 though that would be like a project manager position or maybe someone that brings value. PRODUCTION & CONSISTENCY

That makes sense, if you’re interested in an example… i personally can frankenstein codes to make it make sense with complex problems and circumventing systems.

You don't even understand you're the problem, you're not competitive, etc. I'm not asking you for freelance work, why would I work for the same prices like in central/eastern Europe and deal with foreign language and weird timezone with no extra compensation for that. Maybe it's time for you to flip burgers instead or if you really insist on running a business do everything yourself (like I do) until you're wealthy enough to hire. I'm 100% sure freelancers with these prices will just paste chatgpt shit and take money for it lol. Then you'll complain the quality is bad .

No bud, I hire if it makes sense off the listing. You're just upset I hire so low though it is them offering it. Some of my workers do bring results at $3 a hour, which is why YOU are upset. People I hire got reviews sometimes too, it's the way things are. So some work just does not pay what it once does. Labor costs are much less abroad. It's the way it is, there's still a lack of qualified workers and always will be imo. I'd hire $22 eventually, but the end result has to be 3x what's invested.

You should see some of the crazy requests from the Hire a Freelancer section. I'll share some with you:

• Some who wanted a long-term software developer for $50. Like per hour, not per day; just $50.
• Someone who wanted to rent out another's laptop and have full access to all of their financial accounts.
• This one calculates out to $2/hour.
• A request for a web developer for $80/month.

See I have one guy right now I hire for certain marketing as freelancer. He is so happy to work and I in return get clicks/leads. I gave him couple hundred on single project at that rate and he was happy. Now he does not know Christmas though if I'm able I will teach him with a small tip around that time though thus far I have not tipped much and platform takes fee. Anyways it's beneficial for both us. I already gave option to expand into other task for me surrounding my software, to which he was not sure if to expand. So some people want to keep doing what they are doing and see security in it. You may scoff at $3 a hour though that is entry level tasks. I wouldn't be past paying affiliate commissions but you are either worker or affiliate (independent contractor). These people I hire, some appreciate me, and if not they can go.

Courses you can find on Munchyeye before they drop or browse Youtube for make money online phrases (MMO) and get retargeted to with their ads. There's only so many business models. Udemy has courses, you can get some low cheap, yet watch out because everything high goes on sale at some point so don't buy at $200 for the course.
