Welcome to the Wacky Wild West... The search engine game can be a bitch!

Chalk it up as a learning experience. Otherwise you actually are fucked because you did't learn a valuable lesson from it.

Remember, the only place where mistakes are frowned up is in school. And I sure don't know any rich schoolteachers!

Good luck!

Can anybody help my site { mypadmedia dot com } get back on Google? PM me.

Took me 1 year to get these rankings and it was 100% whitehat :(

I recently went from first page of big G results to like page 7 for my keywords. So I'm hearing you mine is completely whitehat for now ;)

It's hard to not give up after such a huge blow :( I might have to get a job at mcdld's now

Don't give up so easily but by your nick I'm guessing maybe you play the video game consoles a bit. So maybe Mcdlds is for you.

What's wrong with playing video games?

Same thing happened to me. Had all my eggs in a nice whitehat basket then Google pushed me to page 10 for no reason at all and that is how I ended up here.

You just gotta brush yourself off and start building again.

When did it haapen to you? It happens few hours ago to me

One of my whitehat sites disappeared also for a little while, but now rankings are back to normal. Yours might come back eventually too, in the meantime while you wait, you'd might as well build another site seen as you know what works and what doesn't.

Use the first successful website as a "template" for the next.

I know it is very hard mate but you will have to start it all over again and yes this time keep in mind the mistakes which you did earlier just do not repeat them. one thing is for sure that it will take less time now.

Well i remember a blog post on syndk8 where a blackhat guy had a discussion with whitehat guy about which marketing seo approach is better. One of the blackhat dude's arguments was that with blackhat seo you earn lots of money quickly and that is it - money in the bank, rinse and repeat. He said that everything can happen with search engines and even whitehat on which you worked on so long can get banned on search engines for some reason.

I couldn't agree more with Kitsune, as long as google are writing the rule book, they can play the game how they like.

After spending a month on trying my website post-mortem all I could come up with was that either the unmasked affiliate links caused my site to drop or that my product descriptions weren't unique enough.

It might be google dance. Wait a bit and see if it gets back to where it belongs. On the other hand, i hope you saved some money for rainy days because you might need it soon to get back on your feet. I always stash 20% of my monthly income and never touch it so in case a prick changes his mind and doesn't believe that my websites deserve the ranks they have, i have enough funds to keep going.

Well you can apply here - McDonalds Jobs

Seriously, what did you do to get the good rankings before your site went south?
