Hey guys!
glad to see that I'm not alone lost in this TG adverts "logic"

Sharing my experiences and having some questions as well,. Maybe together we can figure something out...
I'm testing it, comparing results and trying to figure out if theres maybe a pattern or some logic behind it. As it seems they have no timelines on ADs approval, neither deadlines. Seems like a lottery ticket system and makes it impossible to plan any serious marketing. For us it's even a bit more trickier as we're advertising betting-tips, tipsters and it's something that it's prohibited to advertise on TG...well at least thats what the official rules say
I'm having atm 20 variations of messages and 5 different DB (channels). Those 5 DB are completely different:
- ranging from 1k up to 500k users
- totally different geographies
- with 15-20 channels per DB.
The channels have been source either manually (TG search), scraped in TG or we got them via SERP. Created 40 adverts with different combinations of starting budget, default status (active/on-hold), different times of posting (weekends vs. operating hours) etc. Out of 40 we got 18ads approved but out of those 9 have unique content. The adverts are run in the same channel with currently 3.1k users - we started with some fake users, activity, warmed-up the channel for a month etc.
The approved ADs are taken to the next stage of improving conversions. With new ADs I'm planning to start to experiment with different channel we manage, to see if this affects the ADs approval (destination), playing around with databases, times-posted and variations of creatives generated with the help of AI. If I'm not smart enough maybe the AI is getting it - taking advantage of it.
What I noticed is that the same advert versions were approved at the same time for different DB - but not all. Approval times were from 1-4days, can't make any conlusion yes but DB (channel list) which is smaller may be important as one of the guys was saying. Possibly also the time posted (weekdays).
If this wouldn't be one of our main leads channels, I wouldn't bother with that for another minute. It's a (bad) joke. No segmentation options, targeting, scheduling, details stats overview or 3rd party integrations for ADs management . But since it's important I'm f*** around with it. Opened actually
another thread on BHW related to monitoring adverts but no replies for now. What I'm really curios about is what your CTR% is and the CPM? Our CTR 0.49-3.17% CPM 0.12 - 0.16. I know the content in our landing channels is crap, plan to improve this drastically to boost the "Joined". We don't monetize you channels yet, at this stage its just experimenting before going seriously into it.
