YT Shorts Channel 200M Views Fail

Hey guys, I want to share my YT story and maybe get some advice.

One of my shorts randomly hit the algorithm in the ass and blew up with 200M views and gained me almost 250,000 subscribers.

My other content was doing kind of "ok", about 10-35k views.

I applied for monetization as soon as I reached the threshold.
But the problem is the video that blew up is just a stupid compilation of 4 videos and minimal editing. I finally applied for the YPP and got really excited. I got accepted in 2-3 days.
The day after I got hit with the reused content and instantly demonetized. It's like they are fcking edging me.

In that short period of time (1,5 days) I managed to make about 120 dollars off ads. I don't even know if I can claim it..

I tried to appeal but got rejected again, and now I have to wait 3 months.
The thing is, I don't even know which video is meant as "re-used content". It could be any one of my videos since they all got monetized OR are they targeting the video that blew up.
Now I'm in a tough situation, it really feels bad to delete a video with 200m views. But I think its the only way around, if I want to get monetized again..

TL;DR fuck youtube, delete video with 200M views or not? :(

what is your channel content?
it could be the case that some content on your channel is triggering the reused content flag.
you can even dm me the channel if you want me to analyze.
 
It's hard to answer this question without seeing the channel.

There are so many theories related to this, youtube has known to be very cheeky with creators and play many games likes this, there are channels that have got their revenues also removed by youtube and then they give you a very generic response like "violation of community guidelines" etc.

Don't delete the videos anyways, and also to get monetized, upload 3-4 facecam videos and send watch hours to it, higher probability of getting accepted.

Thanks for the info! This Youtube journey is making me want to pull my hair out lol.

Do you know if I can keep the revenue? I made a few bucks before I got rejected.. it hasn't made it to the Adsense account yet tho.

YouTube is shit nowadays , I agree with you. Don't delete the video keep it as something to remember.
 
Did you have the original creators' permission to use the content?
 
If YouTube detects that your upload doesn't add enough original value, it will usually flag it for reused content.
 
At first get sure which videos of you are re used content. After that delete the video.
If you make the video you know which parts of the videos come from other videos.
Secondly you will find the online tools to check the re used content video.
Search some and I believe that will help you a lot.

202M is huge videos. But its true shorts pay a few.
Now a day shorts advertisers are only available on USA>
 
It is monetization error, sometimes it automaticlly accepts you and after several days u will get disconnected out of blue.
