Do you think most of flippa is just a scam and inflated numbers? I sold a few sites on there but if you look closesly at the history of sales not that many websites actually sell on there.....

For example - motion invest - great website but there is no automation like with Flippa. With Flippa you can instantly list your business - you don't have to go through any other processes or wait for a meeting/review etc. do you know of any alternatives like this? Maybe I just haven't found it?

Not sure about that, Flippa is easier because it has a lot of starter sites/low value sites.
The sites that require review normally deal with more valuable/desirable sites.

There are some scammers on flippa but that does not mean it is completely scam website.

Not that many website sell period. It's best to go after buyers and get them interested. I used to cold call fishing guides and sell sites like louisianafishingcharters.com and Offshorecharters.com

I even still own MIAMIYACHTS.com lol the things i've boughten over the last 10 years amaze me.

P.S. I sold my first blog on flippa.

It's an opportunity for someone with knowledge and enough funds to invest long-term for marketing & team. Flippa is leading the market but running like a grocery store, if you contact their support a few times, you can understand the quality.

Yes, there're are a few others like MotionInvest and EmpireFlippers but there's no proper & popular alternative with user-friendly self-serve listing system.

OP is right
Flippa is the king and don't have a decent competitor
The only real competitor would be Empire Flippers, but it is just for huge websites
The alternatives for Flippa if you want to sell a starter website are 100% garbage

Thanks I agree! I guess we have an idea for a new business venture!

Flippa with all its issues has the biggest audience comparing to the competitors. I started using it a while ago and still no real competition is out there.

I bought a decent website off of Flippa. An e-commerce store. I researched for months though before getting it and weeded through a lot of garbage. I've been running my shopify store for a year now and really enjoy it. The post-sales process was a bit wonky but everything presales was great. You have to know how to weed out the garbage, and most of it is garbage.

I remember seeing sites sold for $10K - $50K on empire flippers. I wouldn't categorize those as 'huge websites', and empire flippers was far better than flippa

This is the best alternative

https://fameswap.com/browse-websites-for-sale

There are no listing fees

acquire.com is the only one closer to flippa, but nothing like flippa yet in terms of volume and options
high quality projects there thought

Flippa has been known to not vet the numbers. I mean EmpireFlippers is a lot better, but they have 2k minimum monthly earnings in order to sell on the platform. I think there is also lighthouse something, but its for real businesses mostly I think.

EmpireFlippers is the boss. But You may go for Motion Invest, Flippium. These are not smooth like EmpireFlippers.
