I have a current sales thread in social media section. I wish to ad a service to that thread and also remove one currently offered. Am I best posting a brand new thread or just editing and restarting the review process for current thread?

Chapter 18 of the Marketplace rules sets out the rules for a thread edit. If you're adding a new service, the thread would need to be re-tested, so a re-test fee would be payable in addition to the thread edit fee.
Assuming the changes you require are eligible for a thread edit, adding the new service to your existing thread means you retain your history, reviews etc. But if you want to submit a new thread to the Marketplace, as long as it meets the requirements below, then ultimately, it's your choice.
Point 7, Section 1, Chapter 1 of the Marketplace rules states:

As per the current Black Hat World Marketplace guidelines, the fee for a Buy, Sell, Trade thread is $30 for a one-year listing.
This fee applies to each sales thread you wish to post in the Marketplace.
Please note that to be eligible to post a BST thread, you must have an active Jr. VIP or Marketplace Seller membership.

Thankyou . We currently offer Meta and Tiktok Agency Accounts. We wish to now offer google also. Is this going to require a new thread. It would be ideal if we could keep our history .

The test forum is used for marketplace threads that have already been approved. You don't currently have an approved marketplace thread. To submit a marketplace thread for approval, please check the Marketplace Rules. You'll find everything you need to know about the procedure and what you need to do.
Then, when you're ready, you can submit your sales thread in the most appropriate Marketplace sub-forum.

I've seen a thread before about a sub-forum, where members can post on it and then have moderators check it before it goes live on Marketplace. Is that true?

There is no test sub-forum or private review space. All Marketplace threads go through the same approval process once submitted.
Just make sure your thread follows the Marketplace Rules and Content Standards, post it in the right section, and our team will review it.
