Can I be considered for a job if…..

I have started a bunch of niche websites and one year from now I would like to use those website as a portfolio to showcase for jobs like digital marketing and affiliate manager position(or even some data analyst). Now can I get considered even if those sites weren’t super money making machines, or archived a lot? Can I just use them as learning opportunities and still get considered for a job? Or those sites need to rank in order to be considered?

If you did not make good money on your sites, they would rather damage your chances of getting a job in marketing since they show you can not marketing even them.

Oh, but it would show my skills and experience, like doing some statistics and some case studies, even if the sites aren’t money making machines right? If all the articles are SEO optimised and with PPC campains, even if they did not make a bank right?

Sure, if you can show a lot of targeted traffic it would work.

If I were hiring someone for a digital marketing position I would expect that their sites are ranking otherwise I'm hiring someone that has no background to consider.

As to hiring an affiliate manager I would expect to see that what they do generates revenue, and I have in the past, as I used to own a CPA network.

Any experience you can showcase is relevant. Not all aspects of digital marketing are directly related to SERPS etc, as funny as it sounds. If you've gained good understanding of a small sector of the industry the door is open for you to "specialise' in this.

Write down all your skills and review the list, ranking each one in terms of your knowledge and experience.

The ones ranked highest should be your initial focus. You only need to get your foot in the door; then you can start upselling additional services.

I have a VA for gmb and Webdesign. If I would hire a SEO I would Like to See His "knowledge" on His own Sites Performance and Check intensively.
I never respond to people asking for clients Sites.

This would suggest your keyword research is off.
Should go without saying for ranking for zero volume searches is useless.

Yeah well I did it in order to achieve topical authority and once I achieved it go target low difficulty high volume keywords, plus some of my articles rank for 5+ different keywords and some that I didn’t target went on page one

That is a start.

Now, rank for KWs that will bring in traffic and convert.

Well hopefully one year from now(when I’ll start applying for the jobs) I will have done that

It depends on the workplace. Some of them will heavily scrutnise your past work if you list it on your resume, but others won't even know what they're looking at. If you apply at a company like the latter, this can be to your advantage if you put down a bunch of impressive numbers and claims.
