I know many people just use their phones for music these days, although I just like keeping my music separate from my phone as I prefer to listen uninterrupted.
It's because of this that around 5 years ago, I started looking for a dedicated hi-fi music player. I mainly wanted something that was just a music player and not a multimedia device, but I had a few other requirements:
Four years later, I still use this nearly every day. I've dropped it, lost it, tossed it around, stepped on it; and it still looks fairly new.

- No internet connectivity. I wanted to update it from my computer.
- Bluetooth functionality
- Can play flac files.
- Does not use Android. It's just a personal preference.
- Has a unique and responsive AI.
- Has a touchscreen, but I can also navigate it with physical buttons.
- A durable build and design.
