Hey everyone, do you have any tips for promoting affiliate offers on Reddit? How can I add links to posts/comments without getting them removed?

Subreddits don't have the same rules. Some have permissive policies. However, the average subreddit doesn't let you post links that are clearly afflinks. The funnel in these cases is to have your blog link in your bio, or maybe post some specific blog post that is related to the thread you are replying too, everything that can be seen as valuable to the thread. Memes and jokes are often tolerated, so you could comment and add the link to a blog post ( or other resource ) about memes and jokes.

There is a thread on this forum that shows yet another way to do things. It develops a longish funnel, starting with facebook posts about a "generalist" news blog, that has fake native ads in it. The ads area contains the true offering you want to push https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/if-i-can-make-189-00-in-a-day-using-facebook-you-surely-can.760255/

p.s. I have found a great ally in developing such cunning strategies and it is ChatGPT. Try explaining what you need, what hurdles you want to overcome and it will give you many ideas on how to trick social platforms.

Thanks, I’ll check that!

I was also using ChatGPT, but I was getting weird and non-actionable responses. I found out that I can post something on my Reddit profile with the affiliate link, then link that post to a specific post or comment.

You need strong accounts that's won't be flagged as spam so will get the mods attention to your post or comments
Also there is 2 type of removal
From reddit or from the subreddit mod
If that subreddit is stricktly moderated than your affiliate links will always get removed and you better find easier one

From an algo point of view it is probably feasible. But Reddit users are nerds and many of them are very rigid with netiquette. So even your solution could get you reported and consequently banned.

It's not as easy or a 'side hustle' as it used to be, at least not in the beginning. You need a strong Reddit account and must always read the rules of each subreddit. Once you find the ideal post, leave your comment without a link. Look for old posts, as there will be less chance of the mods noticing your comment and placing a manual ban on your account. Add the product link at least 48 hours later.
