I am running a successful result-based agency for podcasters, and he is interested in working with me. However, I know that there are plenty of expert salespeople here. So, I would like to ask them about what to ask those kinds of individuals. What is the purpose of your call with them?
Thanks, man. I appreciate it, but after having dozens of sales calls, I found that leading the call and asking questions to prospects is 90% better. But thanks for replyCongratulations. I personally never had the chance to get such an important client so I can understand that you might feel some sort of pressure but I think the best thing to do is be natural.
If he is looking to work with you he should be the one asking questions and you should prepare for them in advance and give answers that make you look trustworthy and sound like a professional in your field.
Tomorrow, I have sale call with $100M guy, so I would like to ask expert sale people here, what questions should I ask him
Thanks damn, that was good one...Ask him anything you need to know in order to decide if you can help. Then just be totally honest with him, let him know what you do, just like with any other client.
In my experience it’s better to treat all clients the same in that respect. Of course, I would assume if he is very successful he will expect a strong level of service from you, so make sure you can deliver that and meet his expectations.
Aside from that I would also say be totally honest and up front about what you can provide him; otherwise, if you are desperate to close the deal just because he is a high net worth individual, then you risk not being able to meet his expectations and that will result in an unhappy customer which nobody wants.
So think of your sales call not as trying to sell him something but rather a scoping call to check whether or not both of your interests are aligned.
That’s my advice from personal experience.
Also; thread moved.
