Need advice getting first salary 192$ what should i do ?

Hello everyone, this is me, koffemaker, currently not making any coffee, but one day, I’ll surely try to brew it myself!

So, about 4 months ago, I finally landed a job in the education sector as a teacher. It’s the kind of job that aligns with my degree, but oh boy, the salary for “honorer” (contract government employee) is so low—just $48 a month! And it’s only paid when the budget is available, which could be every 2-3 months or even 6 months late if the government’s budgeting is really slow. Yeah, it feels like I’m wasting my degree and working like a slave, but that’s the reality here.

Anyway, to the point—I’m planning to try a side gig to support myself financially after receive my first salary. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the internet can offer better job opportunities and pay, if you’re lucky. My initial plan that came was to be a Canva team reseller, selling invites to individuals teacher etc. Is that a good business plan, or should I do more homework first and browse BHF for better opportunities?

My CV : Cybersecurity and AI (able use chatbot and prompting) aside that i can do video editing and certificated with good degree at kinemaster editing class (lol yes there certification for that here)

yes patience indeed but teaching 13 class week with children starting wear me down, also some class are the worse ever kid are ever you see some are best to. but i want try add better chance rather waiting uncertainty

Your skills in video editing and cybersecurity give you a lot of flexibility.
And exploring other freelance opportunities might help you earn more.

Normal teachers who have just graduated from college and are interning make around $300. And you will be given 5 standard insurances, as well as a housing fund.

Normal teachers US$1000 per month, everyone wants to be a teacher because you still receive US$600-700 per month after retirement. This is just for normal teachers, if you are a senior teacher, wtf, the pay is very good.

Like I used to teach in a 3rd rate university, no staffing, just social workers working as university teachers, and I still get paid $1000 per month.

Of course there are some recent university graduates who do volunteer teaching work, receiving very low wages and going to remote mountainous areas of China to volunteer for a few years to gain experience.

For my country in Indonesia, Honorary Teacher is get paid even lower than that, because yes he is not a full time teacher. Full time teacher will get paid in average $320 or lower depends on the city.

Buying relevant stuff from AliExpress and reselling it on your local digital market is quite consistent, but it is depended on your country economy. Other way would be to freelance some gigs, but you need to be able to do everything on your own starting with sourcing the client.

Yes, selling Canva is working great. I know from first hand. Try to build an online shop and market to different countries, not only yours.
