what do you mean by "right way"? would like to know more about it ;)

i'm assuming it's not since this topic still exists here. do you think posting NSFW contents still good there?

they average 150m visits a year with 100m yearly rev

really, aren't those numbers big enough? pretty sure they are hahaha. but i'm really curious why tumblr looks dead to me. lol.

Tumbler was the thing bcause of all the NSFW posts. Once they banned the 18+ topic few years ago that was the last nail in tumblr coffin.

Something can still be done with NSFW content.
The content does not have to be 100% adult, the still allow you to post relatively relaxed "port" if you can call it like that.
What's your suggestion? Any tips?

even when platforms get older and less people go there, there will still be some traffic, it's at least worth a shot

No, Tumblr is not dead, though it has certainly gone through significant changes over the years. It’s a place for deeper discussions, personal storytelling, and long-form engagement in a way that’s often absent in the more fast-paced content feeds of newer social media platforms.

I haven't used it for a long time, and compared to other social platforms, Tumblr doesn't really stand out anymore

I think blogs are dead in general - with people's attention span these days lasting only a few seconds, I think it's better to post short videos.

There is such a thing as parasitic SEO. They do this using Tumblr. Does it still work or is it just a waste of money?

I used to manage a network of expired high-authority Tumblr accounts back when their link structure was in subdomain format (account.tumblr.com instead of tumblr.com/account). Used to get a massive boost for my CPA project pages.
