I do Reddit comment marketing, and what I noticed is that a lot of people on many subreddits constantly ask questions regarding getting traffic from search engines.
You might want to start with those subreddits.
They're easy to find.
The key here is to offer real information that is actionable.
Once people can see that if they take action on your advice and they can see results, it doesn't take much for them to hire you first as a consultant and then as a month-to-month service provider.
One thing is clear: You have to first prove yourself because there's a lot of scammers out there.
There are a lot of people who think they can fake it until they make it.
These people are not stupid.
They can see through the smoke.
So unless and until you are willing to prove your value, people are not gonna touch you.
So have to go out there, be part of the conversation, offer advice for free, and step them through real, measurable results.
When people see that, people do talk.
They might not need your services directly, but they might know people who do.
Do you see how this works?
It's not that complicated.
You need to make the first move.
Unfortunately, it's very easy to get scammed by people who say that they can find new clients or they have a magic list that you just need to mail.
Don't fall for that trap.
You have to roll up your sleeves and do the work yourself.
