I want to create a blog and will be able to drive about 1,000 page views a day, which is about 30,000 monthly page views.

I have tried some Ad Networks like ExoClick and PopAds, but these pay absolute fucking shit.

For 1,000 page views, using both I am getting $1.50.

I have heard some people making $1,000 a month from 30,000 page views.

Is this true? Niche is going to be finance.

It depends on many factors. I would suggest you test first. Since you are sure you could get that much traffic. Finance is a nice niche and high paying on adsense.

But your ads positing plays major role.

Yes, it is definitely possible to earn an income in the financial sector, but it depends on many things.

are Adsense cpm really $10?

Financial Sector is indeed one of the highest paying sector but there are many variables involved in order to estimate the CPM from your ads. Since the niche you've used is already high paying, the second main variable is geography of your audience.. If it's going to be a Tier -1 country, you can expect upto $2 avg. for 1000 page-views.

Also, you should select the best matching ad format/placement with your page design to improve CTR and overall.. Once done all the basic housekeeping and if you trust your traffic source, you can even use the Adsense revenue calculator to get a estimate of your future revenue.

Adsense pays $2 per 1,000 page views?

It was an estimate. There are many other contributing factors. Also, the number of ad units you have been using on your page. For 1000 page views and 3 ad units, there will be 3x1000 ad impressions. again comes what CPM you are getting on the basis of your Traffic+Niche+Geography etc (let's assume $2) then for every 1000 pageviews having 3 ad units, you get an eCPM of 3x$2.

If you want a confirmation on exact CPM, I doubt any one can predict.

Getting 1000 pageviews daily is not that easy now. It can take few years to achieve that number. If you spend too much on seo, you may achieve soon but will it be profitable. I doubt it.

It depends on your traffic source more than anything. Google Discover got me CPM of around $12-13 while organic traffic was below $5 for a much less competitive niche than finance.

Any tips on how to get traffic from discover?

$1000 per month from 30000 views is too much. Some rare niches might be paying that much but for most users that will be impossible to acheive.

Yeah, it’s possible to hit that $1,000/mo with 30k page views, especially in finance. Finance is a high-paying niche for ads. You should look into networks like Mediavine or Ezoic once you hit their traffic requirements. They pay way better than PopAds. Also, don’t forget affiliate marketing—it’s in finance. Good luck!

For majority of niches, it will pay between $3-$5 per 1000 views. But there are some health and insurance topics that can pay upto $100 per click.

Well $1,000 from 30,000 page views monthly in finance niche is possible, but depends on CPM rates and monetization strategies.

If you get that amount of views, then surely you have the brain to make money from something better than just ads.

Get some affiliates or sponsors on your website, and craft an offer coherent to your niche. That's my suggestion (if your views are real)

No network can match earnings of adsense .

Adsense doesn't pay per click anymore, they switched to PPI, so overall RPM is much lower. With 30k pvs/mo you'll make a whooping 70$ per month on avg even with tier 1 traffic.

Maybe try other monetization methods, also pick a less competitive niche and non-YMYL.
