Hello!
I have about 10 sites in low-competitive niches and all of them are growing due to domain age and content. On some of them, I just bought links on Fiver and on this forum, it was packages with a mix of links on average for 50-100$. The point is that the sites on which I bought links showed the same +- growth as those where I did not buy links ( It's been 2-3 months since purchasing the links ).

Also in one of the niches, I have a competitor who is 3 months old ( like my site ) and is already in the top 10. The difference between our sites is that he has 60 links, DR 40-80, mostly guest posts, and I have almost no links.

My question is, where to buy links? How much should quality links cost? Most of the sellers that sell link packages for $50-$100 have a huge number of positive reviews, and almost every site for a month gains the top 10. I don't think it's real.

In my opinion, backlinks are important for SEO as they provide credibility and search rankings. I will not prefer you buying backlinks as they are considered illegal near google so, focus on creating valuable content, guest posting, and building genuine partnerships to earn high-quality backlinks naturally.

My niche has medium competition. After my website went live, it reached the second page of Google's SERP at position 18 within 5 months. However, after that, the site got stuck at position 18. I waited for a month, and then I bought an affordable off-page SEO service from a trusted person in my SEO community's Facebook group. For the past 35 days, he has been building backlinks for my website. Within this one month, my site has moved to position 4 on the first page of Google's SERP. So far, he has built 140 links, out of which 101 have been indexed, and 101 links are also showing on SEMrush. Compared to Fiverr, his price is slightly higher, but he's building links from quality domains. I have now come to the conclusion that quality off-page SEO plays a very significant role in ranking a website. Some of my competitors have more backlinks than me, but they are still behind me.

Can you share details about the metrics of the links he got? Are they all ********? Are they all pointing to the home page? Is the content manually written? Are the sites he gets links from linking to casinos, to gambling or other sites? Are there any mentions of "Write for us" on those sites?

How much total you have invested on backlinks?

Link packages do absolutely NOTHING.
Those SEO packages include profile, article, pbn, web2 links which are USELESS.
Read the reviews properly... most of those reviews state that the service was delivered as advertised (at least, that's what I say when I get review copies).
Don't waste your money on link packages and cheap pbn links... waste of money.

Want good links? Go for real guest posts. Yes, I know most of those guest posts are rubbish but there are a few good sellers (well, they are not going to be cheap).

Hey,

Backlinks play a crucial role in boosting your brand's authority. Rather than purchasing backlinks, I recommend focusing on creating high-quality content that naturally attracts them. You can try Gracker AI, an innovative tool that helps you generate SEO-optimized, quality content, making it easier to earn backlinks organically

It's important to focus on quality rather than quantity when buying links. The links you bought from Fiverr or forums may not have made a noticeable difference because they could be low-quality. Your competitor's links, mainly guest posts with high domain ratings (DR 40-80), are more valuable and likely helping their ranking. Quality links can cost more, typically around $100 to $300 per link from trusted sites. Be cautious of cheap link packages, as they may not provide long-term benefits. Instead, invest in high-quality links from reputable sources to see better results.

Backlinks are important for SEO because they boost your site's authority and help you rank higher in search results. You can get them through guest posts, sharing great content, and collaborating with influencers.
As far as buying backlinks is concern, you get it from service providers on different platforms, by checking their portfolio. In the long run, those reputable backlinks will bring you better results and more sustainable growth!

you've just answered the question in your title with this statement :) ... Well, the 1st part of the question anyway...

For the 2nd part (where to get links), here's a guide I've written a few days ago in response to someone else:

How much should quality links cost?
quality links can be free too, they don't have to cost anything if you know where and how to get them. Someone shared a case study on the forum last year I believe, in which he showed how he ranked a fresh website (in Health & Medical niche nonetheless, which is brutally hard to get into) with only forum links. And while it's possible that he didn't get those links for free (he probably used a paid software to inject the links into the forum posts), those links can definitely be gotten for free if you're active on those forums and gain enough privileges to be allowed to post links...

And that's only 1 type of links (specialty forums) that are free and quality enough to rank. Other types of links I can think of are .edu / .gov links. These can be gotten for free too if you have the right tools / connections...

And there are almost certainly other links that can be obtained for free and that can be considered quality depending on your goals, but I'm not going into details on all of them (partly because I don't remember them all :p but also because it would take me a lot of time to explain how they can be valuable, but I'm thinking of Pinterest, Reddit, PDF submissions, and podcast links here mostly, these are usually free and can help you rank in certain scenarios)

So yeah, you can get links for free for sure. But you can also get links for extremely high prices. Someone had shared a free pdf on the forum a while back (1-2 years ago I think) of a SEO agency that was charging $30k for a link from Cosmopolitan, which seemed crazy to me but hey, not everyone's poor like me :)

But anyway, the point is that backlinks can cost anywhere from $0 to $1000s, it depends on who sells what links. So, it's hard to answer your question...

Most of the sellers that sell link packages for $50-$100 have a huge number of positive reviews
I find that suspicious, too. But I'm not speaking against it because I don't want to risk getting banned or argued with by higher-uppers :p

This being said, the links have the power and purpose that you give them. If you buy "web 2.0 + profile link" bundles and expect to rank for "weight loss" or "buy smart TV" (no matter if those links cost $5 or $500) you're in for a shock.

Most newbies think that they pay for links and the sellers will rank them outright. If SEO was (still) this straightforward I would still be in it today. But, unfortunately, it's become the game of the rich and the geeks, people like you and me (or maybe like me only, I obviously don't know you), can not compete with entities with millions of $$$ monthly budget for SEO alone, or with born geeks, programmers and hackers. Sadly, this is the environment we live in, and backlinks have very little to do with it. You can rank even without backlinks if you know what you're doing (albeit I suspect that you'll only rank for a short while, until a smartass or truly dedicated person finds your niche and builds links to their site to outrank you)... or with any type of backlink if you know what you're doing. So like I said, the backlinks have the power and purpose that you give them, although there's no denying that there are quality backlinks out there that can move the needle in any niche. But those links can be expensive as fuck as I just mentioned earlier (upwards of $5000 a pop)

Good backlinks are very important for a website. Backlinks helps indexing pages and article, also ranking factor.

He created a mix of ******** and NoFollow backlinks. Most of the linked domains are high authority (DA 40 to DA 90) with a spam score below 20. He’s not only targeting the homepage but is also building some links for other pages. I haven't checked if the linking domains are connected with gambling or adult sites, but the person assures me that he doesn't create links on websites that are linked to gambling or adult sites. He also hasn't created any links on sites like 'Write for Us.
He is making links like,
Podcast backlinks
Cloudstack
Google stack
profile links
Forum backlinks
comments backlink
Nandla links
Web 2.0
Article submission
