Affiliate website - use wordpress or code it from scratch?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently building my first affiliate website in the nutra niche. I've noticed that whenever I need to add a block or newsletter feature, it requires me to upgrade and pay for each plugin.

I understand that plugin developers need to make money, but I'm wondering if it would be better and more cost-effective to code the website myself?

My main concern is whether this approach might be a disadvantage when it comes to SEO. Is WordPress superior in terms of SEO compared to a website coded in PHP or React, for example?

Use gpl nulled plugins, if you are not accepting payments in your site like an ecomm site.
Get a membership for gpl nulled plugins and themes at bhw marketplace.
You may even get the plugins you need in the free download section.
As always take the backup before installing any gpl nulled plugins and regularly there after.
Wordpress is not free, you pay to the authors or to gpl nulled plugin sellers. And sometimes you can get then for free. Consider all the risk before taking nulled plugin themes path.

I was thinking the same, i feel i am more effective with coding and faster, but was wondering if there are any disadvantages compared to WP in SEO

If you are thinking to code a big website from scratch, it needs good budget. And whatever developer you hire, there will always be bugs. But if you use wordpress with teeka it will save costs.

If u are not short in time I would suggest you to code it yourself as you owe every aspect of your website and can customise it as per your needs

If you know SEO and how to setup a high-performance optimized WordPress for your use case.
WordPress is a beast, and you should go for it.

If you're a good developer and also an expert in SEO make a custom one.

I don't know why people are proposing you make a custom website.

At the end of of the day, an affiliate marketing website should be to make money and spending a month of work fine tuning a custom solution would be a waste of time (which is money) if you're not already generating revenue and have a clear need for custom stuff that can't be done through WP.

Think about opportunity cost, what's the $ amount of a month of your work. Is it less than $100-$200 in plugins? Probably not. Focus on making money, spend time programming custom stuff only if you actually need it.
