the key factors for what?? High authority sites do provide value (ranking boost), but you'd have to get a piece of that authority, otherwise (if your links are nofollow, for example... or placed 5-6 levels deep within the silo where google can't find them) they're less valuable...

DA can be easily manipulated, and some backlink provider did that, so make sure to check properly
