Spammers Exploit Weebly To Create Web 2.0 Links, Fooling Users With Manipulated Domain Authority

What's new in this? Web 2.0 manipulation has been going on since the beginning. This reporter Sherlock Holmes James Bond just found out :D

Also, he seems salty some little guy is making money on Fiverr through their services. Even posted the gig as "scam/fraud". This seems like a personal attack.

He has thousands of registered domains, if you check the backlink profile.
Sorry, I only read the article. It says this seller is creating Web 2.0 links from free builders like Weebly. Hard to believe he makes enough to cover the cost of thousands of domain renewals.

The bubble of fake backlinks is going to burst soon because it is abused beyond a point, few backlinks wouldn't hurt but generating it in hundereds makes it Low quality.

sadly the majority of newbies are falling to the metrics, link farming crap instead of learning seo properly,
it's easier for someone to take out a simplified path with specific known numbers than to learn & deal with relatively more complex practices

web 2.0 spamming has been going on since at least 2009.
i can't believe the date on that article is september 2024.
where the fuck has this guy been all this time?

lol, covering this big news in a place where you can buy the same service

pages.dev (used by Cloudflare pages) is also actively being used for this at the moment. I'm sure many of you will have seen backlinks from domains-*.pages.dev and other similar subdomains in your backlink profiles recently.
