Hey all, hope you are fine and doing well.

I wanted to know if there's any rule in BHW that make me force to reply to all comments/messages that members leave in my threads?

I mean, if I create a thread and want to update it with fresh information, do I need to reply to previous messages on the thread before that or I can go ahead and update thread without noticing to them. I'm asking this because sometimes, there are members who leave negative comments always regardless of what's been posted so I wanted to know if it's ok to don't reply to them and update my threads as usual or it will have some negative points of something like that for me if I don't answer them?

Thank you in advance,

No its not necessary that you reply to every comment .

It's okay
If you don't want, you don't need to answer anyone

No rule on BlackHatWorld requires you to reply to every comment or message left on your thread.

Engaging with members is always encouraged, especially when they ask for clarifications or provide constructive feedback, but you're not forced to respond to all comments.

If a comment is constructive or genuinely asking for clarification, engaging with those is a good idea because our goal is for the community to learn something from it.

Or, let's say, if there are questions that remain unanswered or important feedback that could improve your thread, it's good practice to address those.

However, you're free to update your thread with new information without feeling obligated to address every previous comment.

For handling negative comments, moderation comes into play, so, if the comments are disrespectful or against forum guidelines, report them or take action according to BHW's rules.

If they are just opinionated but within the rules, you can choose to ignore them or engage in a professional manner. (It's all about balance)

Keep your focus on maintaining quality and managing the thread in a way that benefits the community.

Great post. Just a quick addition to this when it comes to marketplace threads: You are required to be active in your marketplace thread every few days or at least maybe once a week. It is a rule covered in the marketplace rules (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/the-black-hat-world-marketplace-rules.1295700/ )and we have to close down your marketplace thread once we detect that you are not actively keeping up with the thread or answer potential customers questions.

I am going to close this now as @MrDenz has answered this perfect.
