I’m currently running two scaled operations, one in the gambling industry and the other in the financial market. My funnel is pretty straightforward: I direct my leads to a Telegram channel, where I convert them to either a betting platform or a financial trading platform. Across both channels, I have over 200,000 users, with around 80,000 active leads.

The challenge I’m facing is scaling. At the beginning of these operations, I saw very fast results — my first month brought in $5K, and by the second month, I was up to $11K. However, I’ve been stagnant for the rest of the year. I’m not sure if my ad frequency is too high or if there's an issue with how I’m setting up my ads.

I’ve implemented custom audiences to exclude users who have already triggered a 'page view' or 'lead' event (so for the next 180 days, those who have already seen or interacted with my ads won’t be shown them again). This was done specifically to reduce ad frequency.

I’d appreciate any advice on scaling further. I feel like I’ve tested just about everything to get the scale right. I made these audience exclusions four days ago, and I’ve seen some improvement in results. Was that the missing piece, or is there more I could be doing to push this further?

Is it because the content you create is not attractive enough to attract them with advertising?

There are no companies with such terrible software and no support as these companies. Even if they withdraw 500 million dollars from GOOGLE META, you will not have anyone to talk to about your account.

Unfortunately, you're right, my friend. I've been trying to scale my operation for months, but I keep getting stuck in this area. The business itself is doing well, bringing in at least $10K in revenue each month, but I'm struggling with the scaling process

My content is good, I have LTV from my clients, but it seems that my ads have become tiresome over time, I don't know if it's because of the frequency.

If you have seen some improvement after removing custom audiences, you may need to increase your ad budget. Make sure you are not only focusing on frequency but also considering budget to help increase reach. Also, if your ads have been running for a while, your audience may be getting bored. Try creating new and more engaging content to grab their attention. You can do A/B tests to compare different versions of your ads and find out which one performs best. This will give you a better understanding of what factors are affecting your ad performance. Some professional agencies can also advise you.

Do you run only domestic market or other countries as well?

To have a good advertisement, you not only need good content, you also need to understand the psychology of your target audience, and the time when you run the advertisement is also very important. There will be times when the frequency of players is less and we need to understand that to adjust advertising accordingly

New ads that you can A/B test with the current one
- Ad fatigue. If you duplicate same campaign, usually would get lower CPA because you allow meta do its AI thing again giving you a new audience
- Video ad? segment audience base on watch time and create look alike audience, test up to 2%
- Activity on your site. If it's just telegram, might have different engagement parameters for that because you really can't track that
- Do you engage clients in DM before sending them off Meta?

Thanks a lot for the support, my friend! I’ll definitely take a look at all of this. I’ll come back with feedback later.

My ads are active in the following countries:

Nigeria
Ghana
Kenya
South Africa
Philippines
India
Trinidad and Tobago
Cameroon
Bangladesh
Papua New Guinea
Nepal
Botswana
Egypt
Morocco
Suriname
Gambia
Algeria
Rwanda
Mauritius
Saudi Arabia
Togo
Madagascar
Tunisia
Lebanon
Benin
Qatar
Malaysia
Mexico
Georgia
Vietnam
Taiwan
Peru
South Korea
Paraguay
Canada

That's why I don’t use lookalike audiences—when you're running ads in so many different countries, it becomes very complicated to create an effective lookalike

Since I run ads in multiple countries, I haven’t been able to use lookalike audiences, and I think that might be part of the problem. My ad frequency is around 3.5 to 4, and my main goal is just to grow my Telegram channel. I've noticed that the more I grow the channel, the more money I make.

I can only give you a few suggestions and advice, the fact that you have seen an improvement in results after audience exclusion is a good sign, but to scale even larger you need to Combining funnel optimization, diversifying reach channels, personalizing content, and making the most of existing audiences. Along with that, increasing the use of analytics and automation tools will help you have a more detailed view and optimize the customer conversion process.

I think maybe your content isn't engaging enough as you scale. You need to regularly refresh your content and create multiple offers to attract more potential customers. In addition, you also need to analyze to choose the appropriate target where you place your ads.

I see that your customers have many different countries. I think you should choose countries with more access and usage so you can optimize costs and expand better. Friend

Running the exact same funnel as you for financial markets have scaled it up to 50k per month

What you have described as fast and almost very easy results at the start is very common then followed by stagnation and even decline after that

In my experience 90% of the time this is partly due to the frequency, the biggest issue is that most advertisers keep using the same or very similar creatives for extended periods of time which leads to ad fatigue. essentially the same people see the same ad time after time and get numb to it and scroll past

You need to have a robust creative testing plan in place where you can systematically test new creatives constantly to find winners that you then move to your scaling campaign. having a constantly supply of new creatives will help you scale without a doubt

There can be other factors which can limit the scaling due to the countires you are targetting and the offers you are working with also

Exactly my thoughts.

I'm seeing over 20 countries and frequency of 4?
Definitely needs to go broad on that audience or test a lot more creatives.

in the past 1/2 years the creatives have become much more important than the targetting, yes a few years ago the targetting options could really affect the results but now the AI is able to find the leads even with almost fully broad if you feed it with enough high quality creatives

Thank you, my friend. From what I’ve gathered, most people have suggested that I focus on creating new creatives. I’ll work on that, and I’ll come back with feedback later
