Need help on how to get backlinks

I have been trying some methods with Ahrefs but it takes to much time just to find 10 backlinks.
May someone suggest there method or tools they use?

get links, or find links?? Because you can literally sign up for free with various sites (usually called web 2.0s) and get links that way, but those won't help you rank as they're pretty weak.

You can also do outreach to other sites to buy guest posts on their site, but you'll probably have to have a good site yourself because quality sites don't want to link out to everyone with a site, you need to have some quality content and potentially some traffic too...

Or, if you want free links (again, which are useless most of the time), you can genuinely sign up for sites like...

- web 2.0s (wordpress, blogger, livejournal, etc)
- big authority sites that allow you to create profiles and insert your link into your profile that way (issuu, soundcloud, author.me, disqus, etc)
- article / business directories
- popular forums in your niche (although, you'd need to be active on those forums in order to be allowed to insert links into your posts / signature / profile and for these links to carry any value... or you could insert them using black hat methods, but I don't know BH so I can't recommend anything here)...

Lots of ways to get links, really. You just need to spend money or do the work yourself if you want free, but free can also take time (and it usually does), so there's still a compromise to make

EDIT: oh, and there are also good linking opportunities that are free and which are also share for free here on the forum, you just gotta keep an eye on the SEO sections and you'll see them. For example, this year alone someone had shared few such opportunities, but I will be honest: I don't know whether these links can still be gotten or still work as many times the admins of these sites do tend to block access to these links...
