Another post milestone for me (1500 posts), another backlink guide post. This time it's an easy method of getting a decent-sized article with a contextual link on the site metooo.io. You may have seen this site appearing in backlink profiles as it seems to be a popular 'profile' backlink, and may even be featured in one of the link building tools out there. However, it's likely the link will have only included a maximum of 150 characters of actual content, as that is what is allowed by default. In this guide I show you how to post an article of any size, with whatever contextual links and html formatting you wish. For those interested in third-party metrics, metooo.io is DR73, DA54.

Guide

1) Prepare your article. You'll need to format it with html, so use either <p> tags or <br> tags to get your paragraphs formatted, and insert your links with usual <a> tags. You can also add <hx> tags, <b> tags etc for extra formatting.

2) Visit the following url:
Code:
https://www.metooo.io/
Click register and fill in the form. There is no email verification, so you can use any random email address to sign up.

3) Visit your user admin:
Code:
https://www.metooo.io/user
Click on the dashboard tab. You'll see a section titled 'Write a short decription', but it's limited to 150 characters. To get past this roadblock, we simply disable javascript! Press F12 to open developer tools, and then F1 to open settings. Scroll down to the 'Debugger' section, and click the checkbox next to 'Disable JavaScript'. Now you can paste your article into the description textarea (formatted well using HTML) and change the slug used in your profile url if you wish. Click 'Update' to finish.

4) You can now re-enable Javascript through developer tools by reversing your actions there. After that, revisit your user admin again:
Code:
https://www.metooo.io/user/
Click on the dashboard tab, then click on the url located below 'Your Public URL'. You can then see your article in all it's do-follow, indexable glory:

Happy Backlinking!
Nice.

Thanks for the nifty trick. I hope it doesn't get disabled later

People have been creating profiles on the site for ages and there doesn't seem to be much cleanup being done. I suspect the site admins are either turning a blind eye or just don't care.

Update:...and it's indexed :)

That's a nice share. Did you build any backlinks to this or use an indexer to index the backlink?

@Steptoe Hey, I have just created a profile in this site. There is a place to give your sites link (which is nofollow). So I got the link in profile. Do you think it is still ideal to insert the link in the description field by disabling the javascript and all that? You are anyways getting a profile link from them officially.

What do you think?

I sent it to an indexing service. There doesn't appear to be any internal linking (a user directory for example) so you'll need to do something for the spiders to find you, whether that be building backlinks or using an indexer.

I'm only interested in the do-follow contextual link. Nofollow profile links are ten a penny.

Great guide .
Thanks for sharing the detailed guide bro .

Bookmarked and will implement soon!

Good share, but these links are not getting indexed. I have tried using indexification multiple times.

Is there any way to index it?

I indexed the one I created in the example using a service from the BHW marketplace. I doubt Indexification is up to scratch these days.
