Should I create an Affiliate Blog or Affiliate Store ?

Hello friends, I want your opinion whether I should create an affiliate blog or affiliate store for amazon or other affiliate programs.

How should I do this ?

A blog with top lists, reviews and articles where multiple products on a page Or,

A affiliate store where only one particular product on a page .

I know amazon commission is very low as compared to others. I want to start with amazon and then I will add more products from other programs .

I am confused how to start . I am worrying about the google ranking . I heard that blogs are not easy to rank but stores has the upper edge.

Please provide your insights.

Doing only one particular product on a page looks more professional, as long as you will have many pages with related products. This will make your blog look like an Authority in the eyes of Google.

But I would rather for it to be a review blog with one product on one page than being an affiliate store. Competition is very tough these days

Few years back the workflow was like this:
1) start affiliate blog
2) make 3 valid sale (game amazon affiliate, blackhat)
3) get the api and start an affiliate store
Now a days google may hit your site before you can even make 1 sale, due to number of reasons but mainly low value content and affiliate review content.
Also gaming amazon affiliate may not me possible, I don't see anyone selling amazon valid sales service.

We need to prepare for google but its unpredictable. I am planning for pinterest marketing and using social media . Earlier, it was easy with wp plugins like scraping products and building amazon sites. But now, amazon and google both are not that easy. I am sure we will find the ways for it.

I prefer creating content because quick sales are way hard for me . I do not know how to convince people with less information. Unless advertising on google and facebook , I do not find potential buyers . It would help if you give any trick .

If I can make some cash with the effort I put in so far, the park is wide open for people, including me, once I get more time, to make something really worthwhile with 100 products or so, and promotions regular on social media. If you enjoy creating content, you can make image, and video content there.

I uploaded a couple of other custom products that are site related, (still got about 15 more product assets to revise to upload in total that are ready version 0.9, but I need them to be v.1.0) and also I have images that I create for my third party marketplaces for t-shirt and merch designs to upload there so, its just another platform to upload to. But then to market, I'll be hitting the socials, and web 2.0 asset links, as well as forums, and discord friends!

Also this site is due to get featured at the end of my 20 hour course, so people should hopefully go there to purchase the products that are dicssussed and demonstrated in the course.

You are doing good. I also have zazzle store but not much sales there. I will use those designs in the site you told. Also follow your tricks of web 2.0 links to promote my store. I will create youtube channel and connect it . I am glad that I am learning much from you. Smile

Yes, zazzle doesn't get the best traffic really, you should also try spreadshirt, cafepress, teepublic, and threadless. They are the other big platforms. But always remember to check your copyrights, as I got my account banned from tee public for a shirt like "stay strong" not that but something like that, and now instead I just use Ai to generate cool images, and then trace them on my tablet, and upload slogans related to the image, which makes it much easier to avoid copyright most of the time, but you still have to be aware to check trademarkia.

Stay safe in the digital jungle. It takes a lot of effort to get re-started if at all you actually can, once you get booted from a platform.

You are helping me a lot. I also have " stay strong " designs and after reading your comment I will rethink to use them. You are right that AI images are good way to avoid copyright . I am using AI images for my new stuff.

Just want to know if you have done Gadgets Affiliate Marketing ( those kitchen gadgets from aliexpress like sites ) . There are already a lot of instagram pages and youtube channels. I am starting late and need your opinion. Do you think this will work if I start now ?

What strategy should I use ? What products should I start with ?

I really need more money in quick time .Thatswhy I am trying more and different kind of stuff . Your advice matters a lot.
