I find it funny how one minute spinning content for an auto-blog was considered to be extremely spammy and hated by Google but now, stamp AI on it and it’s the best thing since sliced bread.

In fact even Google now have their own auto-blog pasted at the top of the results page but because it’s labelled as AI overview it’s suddenly cool.

But really it’s just spun content essentially.

Yes its not spinning, and its more sophicaisted, but fundamentally its just increased algorithm complexities and computing power that bridges the gap. So essentially, they are the same. Its all just 1's and 0's!

Yes its not spinning, and its more sophicaisted, but fundamentally its just increased algorithm complexities and computing power that bridges the gap. So essentially, they are the same. Its all just 1's and 0's!

Can you see what I am getting at though? I know its not spun content - the process and results are technically different, but the practice is the same - essentially ingesting data set A and outputting data set B. When it was called spinning it was pure spam and frowned upon but now its called AI its this fantastic new invention that everyone is assuming will take over the world.

The real problem is that we still do not have even a rough idea of how it will affect us in the next 3-4 years. I'm not talking about small things like text processing, etc. I'm talking about the global impact on our lives.

I think it will eventually change the world beyond recognition. But personally I beleive technology as a whole will do that; I think AI is just a small part of it. I am sure it will "destroy" so much of the world we know today but also it will open new posibilities and the world will be totally different as a result.

Basically copied content within the same logic,

Well, they set the rules, they own the traffic and they have control over it,
They don't have to follow any of their SEO rules the same way webmasters should
