Hello, I know that a fast and uninterrupted website is important, especially for SEO, and I was wondering which hosting companies you prefer for this. Have you used these providers before?

or any suggestions?

Fastest web hosting for WordPress?

Rocket.net
Liquidweb
hostkoala (budget and suited for small projects)
digitalocean or vultr with openlitespeed configured server
Thank you for your suggestion and I will look into it.

hostinger is better. Been using it for 3 years now.
Thanks for your suggestion. Hostinger price seems cheap too but the lack of cpanel and the support and performance/uptime complaints I have encountered recently caught my attention.

A close friend of mine recommended Hosting123 to me and I was interested in their pro cloud plan. Their free backup every 12 hours, redis and memcached seem quite attractive.

I am really a bit undecided.

A friend of mine recommended Bill's Dodgy Burgers, but I prefer Burger King, you can see that many people like and use them. This is like hostinger, and Hosting123, who only have a small office in turkey, and not a dedicated customer support centre like hostinger.

Sometimes paying the cheapest gets you the worst! Look at many other hosts first. I use A2, OVH and Tier, all VPS, and all have cpanel, which I have as a must for my working.

Actually VPS may be the best choice for me but I think my technical knowledge is insufficient. Is OVH the best provider for VPS?

I found that all my shared hosting problems went away once I got VPS. OVH is good yes, they are big, and easy to use. You don't need much technical knowledge of a VPS over shared. There is only technicality required in the login details, which are explained well enough.

Are you using cPanel for your VPS?

Yes, I'm too much of a noob to survive without it! ;) Some hosts will provide an extra panel license as part of their package, you pay a bit extra, but its easier than installing it yourself on the vps. I have 2 vps that I had to install Cpanel on myself, and then a third that has it included. I prefer to have it included.

Just forget about "which is the fastest hosting". This is 100% irrelevant if you do things right.
Just look for the cheapest and best uptime possible. And for the rest, read this:

Unless you need to scale at some point, which in this case, I would definitely recommend a VPS, otherwise I would simply pick one of those offers in lowendtalk for example, or even check for a cheap offer in the marketplace

I've got LTD for only $10 which is pretty nuts for my low end sites (I used to have zillions and I could not afford having to pay like $100 a year for most of them, that were going to be in most case, failures). Also, they may drop at some point, true. But generally a webhosting is only for launching a project. A page should not be on a regular hosting for more than 2 years if its anything serious.

I'm pretty sure that if you were not an Exec already that if @Zwielicht saw that he would promote you on the spot for that line.

Bill's Dodgy Burgers, made with whatever we have lying around!

@helloworld001 - if you are using shared hosting the results are going to vary depending on the other sites using that same IP you are on.

There are a few very solid shares from members who do not have a dog in this fight and are well educated... please take their advice.

Hstinger should be OK for small traffic. I never heard about hostin123. I personally use Asphostportal and I can quite recommend their service, they are good and also affordable.
