My eCommerce Site SEO

Interesting, as VA what is your function to grow the SEO of the site? I would be interested in this.
SEO never been a part of my job. i have had interest in SEO for longer period. Never put much effort on SEO though thinking it won't work as there are big companies who is already in each niche. I want to start it atleast now. but have no idea how and where

thanks for the input. my main product have around 2K search volume for its main target keyword. there are other similar keywords too.

i have more products on the way trying to get them one by one.

will follow your tips.

would like to hear your journey updates too.
I've got 18 blog posts back up. 300 Impressions and 9 clicks so far last 28 day nothing major, but should go up in a month so.

I have had a ecommerce site with <5 sales for the past few years with doing almost nothing related to SEO. I have had no clue on where shall i start or what to do to pass my competetors.

But after getting into a blog where I focused on page seo, I realized posting seo optimized content leads to more exposure in search engines. The blog got so many impressions on GSC (very few clicks though)

So, I was thinking if I can apply same thing for my e-commerce site. I can post several blog posts related to the niche and get more exposure and as far as i know it build up authority.

Please help me with below questions came up the same time:

01. Since the site is old and have had no much interaction or almost no updates, will that help boosting my site?
02. Where do i start if its not the correct path?
03. Where do i start building links to my site?

I have been reading so many SEO related articles for years now but had no luck on getting any money on it yet. your replies are much appreciated.
Even though the site is older, adding fresh, optimized content can definitely boost your rankings. Start with keyword research and create relevant blog posts for your niche.
For link building, try guest posting and sharing your content on social media. Keep at it, and you'll see the great progress soon!

thank you very much. will do!

It's great you're focusing on SEO. Here's the deal: an old site with no activity can hurt your rankings. Start with a site audit. Fix technical issues, optimize product pages, and build high-quality content. Focus on building links from relevant sources, not just any website. Don't expect overnight results, SEO takes time and effort.

It's great you're taking SEO seriously. An old site can definitely benefit from a fresh start. Focus on creating high-quality, relevant content for your niche. Think about what your customers are searching for and create content that answers their questions. For building links, start with natural outreach. Reach out to influencers in your niche and offer them valuable content to share. Remember, SEO is a long-term strategy, so be patient and consistent. It takes time to see results.

Thank you for the input. I always wonder if any influencer wants to post content linking to my site without charging me as they know im doing it for a link. Don't see the benifits they get instead some content that they can also get done theirself. correct me if im wrong. Thanks!

Make some bonus offer and refer bonus. It will help you also.

thank you. Am i correct that ecommerce sites too needs authority or many blog posts to build authority and it helps the products pages getting ranked too?
Yes, you're correct. E-commerce sites benefit from building authority through a combination of strategies. Creating many blog posts can help establish authority and drive traffic, which can positively impact your product pages. High-quality, relevant content on your site helps build your site's overall authority, making it easier for search engines to rank your product pages. Additionally, acquiring backlinks and engaging in other SEO practices will further support your e-commerce site's visibility and rankings.

It's better to revamp your website by changing the overall theme and updating the content. Then, start building links through guest posts or niche edits. Additionally, focus on review-based sites as well. For example, if you have a product page for a coffee maker, list it on websites featuring "Top 10 Coffee Makers" or "Best Coffee Maker Machines" to boost both your SEO and sales.

One more thing: utilize social media to promote your products by offering discounts, giveaways, and special offers to your followers.

Based on my experience with Google Ads paid traffic, you need to let your campaign run for a while before it can optimize and start generating consistent profits. The optimization time required will also vary depending on the network you’re running (Search, Display, YouTube, etc.). But overall, I think it’s worth trying paid traffic with more patience — investing less per day and letting it optimize over the long term.
how much do u think the minimum that i should set it for per day?
