WhatsApp bans? What's your experience folks?

I don't use sold accounts, I make them myself and always (well, almost) clear everything. I noticed bans happen to me almost immediately when things like euro or payment methods are mentioned in the chat. Well, you can't just prevent people from asking about these things, even if such things are there on the website etc, potential client is a moron sometimes, that's how it is. So I figured, Whatsapp Business and create price catalog and type other essentials under description. It seems to help as long as it's not actually discussed in the chat. But people just don't see it, so they still ask about such stuff in the chat... and if the info is not provided on the silver platter like it's kindergarten, they'll just drop it. So then I thought: automatic welcome message with these essentials. It's not read as SPAM if it's a legit option whatsapp offers, I thought. But I don't know, doesn't seem to work after all. Last week, day or a half, and account is a goner. Used to be better before

What are your experiences? Do you get banned?

Unless it looks like it bans for certain words and discussing certain matters but what's actually a problem is.. a number? I thought I found a good sms service but perhaps not. Although I'm not sure whether they would randomly ban for a number once the account is already running and set up with successful sms verification.

One thing that's suspicious is that I get this white message I was logged out because someone might have used my number to register/log in, but if I try to log in again by typing the number it says the number can't use whatsapp due to violation of policies, so not sure, seems like they just banned the account. Even if they resell the numbers (the sms activation site) shouldn't be possible for someone to register with used (by me) number like 1 or half a day after my own registration ? Because this is the scenario when whatsapp disallows it with "this number is already registered" (or alternatively, "do you want to move whatsapp to this device" in which case a confirmation code from my device would be needed) ?

You will need a SMS verification if you create a new account or change the number in existing account, if you have enabled two-step verification or if you delete your account and reinstall the app or switch to a new device. If your number is blocked due to any suspicious activity, you will not be able to log in to your account.

If it is banned, just leave the number and get another. Lately there has been huge bans, and it is advised to use new numbers for new accounts.

Try an online sms verification service. You can make as many whatsapp accounts as you want.

Yep, which is what I do all the time. But it's these online services apparently, the quality gotten worse and they're offering weak numbers and not for cheap... if I am to pay 5+ usd for one whatsapp number only for it to be gone so quickly + such a quick ban is too big of a slowdown and all contacts are gone, should last a few days at the very least

but still not sure whether it's the number's fault or there is some correlation between what I type and bans

Most people working with WhatsApp and dealing with these spam bans say that leaving the account and number warming up for a few days, it kind of verifies it as a real person's number, and not just an online quick to use number for purposes of making money - Meta doesn't like that, since they want you to make money through their Ads and stuff.


I work with WhatsApp spams - not in such a spammy way.
e.g. I create communities with one number, create about to 10 new whatsapp accounts with more numbers and set them as admin on these communities. Then I use a number which is not related to the communities at all to gather leads and hire them to spam people into these communities - I provide the contacts and everything. Then I use one really warmed up number to spam messages (offers) into these communities.

This structure is fairly simple, and barely gets reports, but still, the community creator gets banned as soon as people begin to be added on the communities. Then, after a few minutes of sending messages on the community with the warmed up number, it gets banned too. Then all the admin numbers begin falling - getting banned one at a time, even though I'm not even connected on it, or sending messages with it, they're just warming up and just there as admins.

I'm not even running actual 'spam' campaign like a lot of people here. Mostly it's just the matter of convenience and efficiency. Rather than talk about the EXACT SAME thing with each person who wanna talk to me, it's 200% quicker and more efficient to send them an auto welcome message with basic info. I don't come to random people, people come to me, but it's not like they add me to their phone contacts of course. Lately the instant bans seem to be for completely idiotic things, even with some warm up, like I accidentally clicked call to someone and then cancelled. Plus I do feel more comfortable with desktop whatsapp and that thing is even more annoying. The best thing is I've seen (and spied on) a lot of outright spammers and they seem to be having the exact same numbers/accounts for like many months/years. How the heck are they doing that?:

In all honesty, I would be willing to buy warmed up accounts and spare myself the trouble but I don't think anyone is selling, plus I would need to be able to change the account's number too and it couldn't be banned for this

sometimes it takes a month, or just now it took two days, under same parameters, so i really can't figure it out. What's even funnier, you can appeal to restore account and after a day it apologizes for mistake and asks you to verify your number again and restore account, but when trying to verify it no longer lets you and says i'm using unofficial app (even when i'm not). Plenty of similar claims online, from regular users too. This app is just utterly stupid and it's a shame it's so widely popular... Very counterproductive behavior and doesn't matter that you have 'business' version. I mean, imagine the kind of stupidity to punish a business for actively talking to its customers (who wrote first) because they didn't save you in their phone contacts... who does that?!

this tells me you never actually done it yourself but the truth is their support does not exist: it's the preset ai responses (from years ago, not even upgraded to current LLM capabilities) that are completely useless. There is no human in the loop whatsoever. Just like the bans, everything is run by bots. No matter what you ask on support, it will first ask you for number. Afterwards, it will just tell you whatever generic response regarding the status of your account it can fetch from the system. When you respond with questions, because it failed to address your concerns, it doesn't even recognize it, it asks for your number again and then you're stuck in the never ending loop of the exact same response, your business be damned

but at the same time clients saying all sorts of things are NEVER banned.....

you are right, I never really tried it out myself. I just thought the support should actually acts like it’s name “support”. If it’s just AI preset response like you said then this is really bad. Infact, I will go try it out.
