I've seen tons of such examples, however, this is just one of those channels i came across today, while watching a topic i was interested in.
Consistency may be the key to blow up "eventually" for channels that aren't favored at the beginning, but this example supplies evidence which suggests the reality of how the algorithm can be biased in some cases towards certain channels at early stages, and favor them whether or not the content is HQ, and regardless of the amount of time they’ve spent on the platform trying to prove that they are “consistent” or whatever.
Such channels have the "lottery luck" of blowing up from the very beginning, with just a few videos, without having to spam upload too many videos or grind for months, before they start seeing results.
As you can see below, this channel has only uploaded 3 longform videos, and not too many shorts (maybe a bunch). The shorts themselves have very less views, but they mainly blew up from the longform videos, which was a mere 3 videos, and they gained 11k subs from that.
I myself have done similar tests with multiple channels and confirmed this "algorithm bias phenomenon" to be a real thing. Not all channels get equally favored, no matter how good your content is. Some channels get favored more, and others don't, and this is simply an undeniable fact based on observation and research. It simply cannot be denied once you have taken the time to research more about YouTube and conduct extensive tests.
Some channels can get buried in the algorithm for long periods before they even get "real results", and some keep growing at a "snail's pace" despite months of grinding, which I find pointless, and such channels barely make the kind of money we could consider "useful".
The people who understand the YouTube game well, know how to better increase their probability of success by working with multiple channels.
But those people who are romantically attracted to one channel and keep grinding on it, usually fail to see the early warning signs on how they are simply "working hard" but not "working smart".
They continue grinding despite evidently observing that their channel is growing at a "snail's pace", and they should consider such evidence as being something "sufficient enough" to ring some alarms for them.
But the issue here is, most people are so attached to their channels that they get blinded to the reality of how things work.
This is just like how a lover is blinded to the reality of their significant other, despite several warning signs that they might be bad, toxic, or cheating. This causes them to continue grinding in the hopes of some kind of eventual “success” (which may never even happen if their channel is stuck in limbo). They also do things such as, complain on forums about how their competitors are doing better than them, and how they have been grinding for years and mad that their results are bad.
WELL GUESS WHAT? WELCOME TO REALITY, AND I'M SORRY TO BREAK THIS TO YOU. YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW THE GAME WORKS FIRST, BEFORE EXECUTING. THE GUYS THAT UNDERSTAND HOW THE GAME WORKS WIN!
WHAT USE IS AN ENGINEER IF HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND HOW THE MACHINE WORKS THEORETICALLY, AND WITHOUT HAVING A GRASP OR UNDERSTANDING OF THE PHYSICS BEHIND THE MACHINE HE IS TRYING TO BUILD?
WELL AN ENGINEER WHO GRINDS FOR MONTHS AND DOES SOME RANDOM STUFF WITH THE MACHINE HE IS TRYING TO BUILD, WHICH HE CANNOT FULLY COMPREHEND OR UNDERSTAND, WILL ONLY LEAD HIMSELF TO NONSENSE OR “NON WORKING” RESULTS.
HE MAY KEEP ON TRYING BUT CONSTANTLY END UP WITH PARTIALLY CREATED MACHINES THAT DON'T WORK.
THE SAME IS APPLICABLE WITH YOUTUBE. IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THINGS WORK ON YOUTUBE FIRST, AND KEEP ON GRINDING, YOU WILL END UP WASTING A LOT OF YOUR TIME AND GET “NON WORKING” RESULTS..

THE EXPERIMENT:
So i'll give you an example of the kind of test i did and how i confirmed the "algorithm bias phenomenon" to be a real thing:
1. I First confirmed and made sure that the batch of content I ordered from my team was strategically planned based on the trends, and was of the type that was HQ and optimized enough for the algorithm to “blow up”.
2. Now i uploaded all the content to “channel A” (batch of 10 HQ videos) > waited for 2 months > barely any blow up (just 1k views in total after 2 months). Conclusion: Failure!
3. Since I didn't get results in step 2, in step 3 i decided to delete all the videos from channel A > And then delete channel A itself.
4. For step 4, I created a new channel "channel B" > uploaded the same batch of videos to “channel B” > came back after 2 months and BOOM!, one of the videos blew up to 2M views. Conclusion: Success!
(note that i have done this experiment multiple times and got similar results).
If it were truly the case that it’s all just about good HQ content, CTR and retention, then it doesn't explain how channel A failed, but channel B succeeded with the exact same content, in the above experiment. This is where the factor of randomness comes in. The algorithm will not be able to equally favor all channels despite the quality of content, because the available global views are limited. So out of 100 channels who make content of a similar quality level, the algorithm will be forced to pick a few channels at random and favor them. This is because the available global views are limited and not unlimited. More details on the “Views threshold theory” below:

CONCLUSION (HOW TO SUCCEED):
The best way to increase the probability of success on YouTube, assuming the truth behind the “Algorithm Bias Theory”, is to work with multiple channels or keep testing the same content on multiple channels until you succeed.
And If you are sure from the get go, that your content is good, and is of the type that goes along with the trends, is optimized enough to blow up, but still doesn't blow up, then it’s time to switch channels.
Test with “channel A” > upload 10 trending HQ videos > wait for 1 to 2 months > if no results or poor results > delete “channel A” and it’s videos > create a new channel “channel B” > upload the same batch of videos again to “channel B” > wait for 1 to 2 months > if again, no results or poor results > delete “channel B” > create a new channel, rinse and repeat the exact same steps on at least 10 to 20 different channels, until you get the one that performs very well.
This is how the game works. Experienced guys on YT who have understood this method, use it to gain an unfair advantage over their competition.

FINAL NOTES:
1. This is not to say that consistency does not work. It does work, but bear in mind that for some channels, it could take several months, while other channels might be stuck for multiple years. You must also remember that some channels get favored from the very start.
So do you want to be one of those channels that constantly keeps grinding, trying and hoping for results, and getting no results?
or do you want to be one of those channels that gets early results by understanding the game better?
This is the fundamental question you must ask yourself first before you take any action, or else it will be a lot of wasted months or years without results.
2. The best way to succeed is not always by working hard but by working smart. Working smart involves discovering shortcuts or more efficient and effective strategies to succeed. Such discoveries can usually come about through extensive research and observation.
This is not just true of YouTube, but is also a thing that is well understood within science and applies to other aspects of the universe as well. The universe works based on time flowing in one direction, so resource limitation and competition is subsequent by-product of time. Once you recognize this, you will see that the entities who “cheat” or take “shortcuts” get to their results or goals much quicker, while also utilizing “lesser energy”.
3. There is no such thing as “absolute success” or “guaranteed success”, there is only a thing such as “probabilistic success” or “increasing your probability of success”. Any guru or person who claims they can sell you a method which can guarantee your success is either lying to you or simply does not understand how reality works.
Quantum mechanics describes the fundamental nature of reality, and by definition everything is in a superposition of “probable states” until collapsed. Once collapsed and through a process called “quantum decoherence” it gives rise to all the macro scale events or structures you see in reality. Quantum decoherence is basically the process where the many possible quantum states of a system collapse into a single definite reality when the system interacts with its environment. This interaction causes all the various quantum probabilities to "average out", leading to a single classical outcome. At the macroscopic scale, where we live our everyday lives, these quantum probabilities have already averaged out, so we experience a single definite reality.
In conclusion, for every event that happens in reality, you can only assign a probability to it, but you never make a prediction that is 100% deterministic or absolute, as there is always a chance that even for a thing you are extremely certain of, it will always have a tiny probability of being different just due to the fundamental nature of randomness in quantum mechanics.
Quantum fields/Quantum fluctuations are the fundamental nature of reality, and its description “Quantum Field Theory” states that everything is random. Nobody can escape the randomness in quantum mechanics, not any guru, not mrbeast, not youtube, not the government, not you, not anyone. Every person, every object and every event depends on quantum fields and particles, and us humans are nothing more than a collection of quantum particles.
So when you attempt to succeed on YouTube using the method I have outlined above, you are drastically increasing your “probability” of success in comparison to others who don't fully understand the reality of how YouTube works.
