Many users are reporting getting permanently banned after accepting a few friends on an account thus making Snapchat useless. Is this the end of Snapchat?

As written at other places of BHW already ...
You can add between 100 and 120 friends to a freshly created Snapchat account at the first day, if you
- don't use a blacklisted Android phone
- don't use "root" permissions, apps like the classic "Magisk", the classic "Frida" etc. for Android
- don't use poor Snapchat scripts that leave footprints
- don't use "web.snapchat.com" with browser scripts
- follow a few other rules I won't post at the public forum section
- etc.
So this is not "the end of Snapchat".
I experienced much bigger problems since 2022 at Snapchat, but I was always able to find workarounds.

Created new account on different phone and connection, opt for snapchat premium and sent 20 friend request and boom my account permanently locked

- Did you use and Android device or iPhone?
- Did you use a jailbreak (iPhone) or "root"/classic Magisk/classic Frida (Android)?
- Are you sure about your proxy/connection quality? No blacklisting?
- Did you use any other "poor" tools or scripts?

New sandboxed environment, Snapchat + subscription, fresh email + phone number. Not sure what I’m missing.

"Sandboxed"? Do you use jailbreaks and apps like crane? Forget it...
Snapchat is not that dumb anymore.

Don't try to play tricks with Snapchat anymore. Use a normal iPhone (non-jailbroken) to create your Snapchat account and you will reach your goals.

Of course, yes.
They updated many little things already during July 2024 with the ongoing preparation of their Snapchat 13.x release.
One example: The number of logins per device (logins, not registrations).

I have 6 year old account when i add too many friends it's showing you reached daily limit but the situation is different if the account age is under 1 year they get directly permanent blocked without any single warning

I’ve had 3+ year aged accounts get banned in less than 120 seconds from adding friends… there’s definitely a metric that Snapchat determines your account is a spam account but I’m not sure what exactly the metric is.

And - to be honest - I like this step.
Several people used Android emulators to spam Snapchat with illegal content and ruined the platform for serious offers - or at least grey hat offers ;-)
