Is Pinterest Just As Bad As Google?

P has been my main source of income for many years. I never thought I would make so much money from IM. When they told me about it, I couldn't believe it.
Then, about three years ago, it started to cut off free traffic.
Since then it's all this kind of crap.
There is no way to generate traffic/money stably and consistently anymore
Nothing to do imho.

Across the web, the above is the kind of graph you see. From high to medium-low down to absolute zero!

I have pretty much the same graph...
Is a recovery even possible at this point? Like should I even keep posting on this account or start a new one?

Honestly think everything related to blogs/niche sites are a waste of time at this point.. I will try to automate the whole thing further

Doing everything by yourself is as unprofessional as it can get. Also, doing things using electronics at small scale is like buying a company producing excavators to only take 1 excavator and use it as a bike, and the rest pretend doesn't exist.

well, I hope that ezoic won't get under any time soon..
Anyway, I have checked analytics of multiple accounts I I don't see drop like you. But my accounts are a lot smaller and not as aged. Is it possible, that they are prioritizing new content?

I have Ezoic and I hate them. I have already been accepted to Journey on two sites but I haven't migrated them yet because I saw sites with Journey that have more advertising than Ezoic. Is it the same for you?

Looks like dip was just an issue with Pinterest ouage, not an intentional update.

I see a small recovery on some of my accounts, hope it will get back to the level before this bug

It's not an outage 100%

It's a big algo reshuffle, which also along the way caused some bugs(which are called pinterest outages)

The results have changed drastically. A lot of amazon/etsy/ebay in the search results

But pinterest still "likes" the same content. I haven't seen any big difference between accounts which got hit and those which didn't

By the way, I've also seen a few examples of some other accounts being clapped on Aug, 15. Dark times...

Hey. Have you been able to recover? From what I've seen, all the clapped accounts are still on the bottom, but new ones are growing...

Been doing a little bit of Pinterest lately(for about a year or more) now,. Some account started gaining traction but from yesterday up to this point I noticed a massive drop in impression, engagements and outbound clicks.

As of today, the outbound clicks are down by over 70%.

Attached are some screenshots for two different sites in two different niches.

The circled area are for yesterday when I began to notice the dip. Algo change? Shadow ban? What do you think it could be? What about you, any similar experience starting yesterday?

By the way, I've done a shadow ban test of searching for username, and it does produce the username as a result. However when I search for a pin with the exact title, it doesn't appear even if I scroll 100 pins. So, I don't know if it's a shadow ban or note.

No, it's not about just the last/current day. Look at the chart very well.

I posted those screenshots early on during the last Pinterest update(or whatever they call it).

Many accounts were hit, some still haven't recovered. Maybe your account and niche wasn't. Congrats.

no for sure my accounts wer ehit, i used to push 150-200m impressions a month and then randomly it was cut. At the time what happened is that people could opt-out of being tracked by Pinterest so I just lost like 40% of the insights and then later was another update that lowered the reach overall.

How many pins per day do you post?

Google is way better than pinterest, IMO. Pinterest traffic/views are 80% bots.

It's probably the algo update. Give it a few days and see if everything returns to normal.
