There are many reasons for which your content isn't ranking. But it all points to one thing; Google doesn't think it is as good or better than the ones currently ranking.
It could be due to age of website, lack of authority, unoptimized content or all of these.

That you consider your content is good doesn't necessarily mean it's truly good. Compare your site with those on page 1, see where or what you're missing out on. But most importantly, ensure you aren't punching above you weight with regards to keyword difficulty. It's a waste of time to go after keywords only strong authority sites are ranking for.

Is that article well-optimized to rank? It’s better to compare it with your competitors and work on improving your content quality score. Google prioritizes displaying relevant search results to users, so think from a user’s perspective. If you were searching for information or tips, would you accept seeing irrelevant posts or articles that lack sufficient information ranked by Google?

Yet your article got indexed, you need to overcome the competition for the keyword that you targeted in SERP.

Make sure with your article contains the target keyword properly with enough backlinks which makes your article on SERP.

Improve internal linking and target less competitive long-tail keywords. Additionally, focus on acquiring high-quality backlinks.

If your content is properly indexed and not appears in the search results, the problem is with your ranking. Indexation is not a guarantee of ranking. When it comes showing up in search results, it’s all about your Blog's SEO, how relevant your article is, which keywords have you used, how is connected with your targeted audience , how many people are sharing your content, How many quality links are connected with them etc.. If your content is good, Then try to post build some quality links with those articles, Share those on social media platforms etc..

I do agree with @HenryObi as said there are various other factors like Content Relevancy and Quality, User experience, Backlink profile etc. so check on the E-A-T factors of your article.

If the on page is optimized well, it might be due to the high competition and the content may not provide more value to the visitors. Update the existing content and optimize it for the keywords. You can also target more long tail keywords to publish more articles with internal linking and promote them.

Maybe it's appearing, but not on page 1...maybe in page 6, for example
high competition can influence it
