Hello BHW
I have a low-gravity CB product I have in mind to promote. I have built a site around a low-search, low-competition keyword (about 1300 globals a month). It is my first site and I'm promoting it using all the wonderful info I've found here.
However, for a bit of fun, I decided to research a very high-search keyword phrase(about 15000 globals). What I found was rather interesting. Of the top 10 results in Google, about 2 or 3 were either product pages or opt-in squeeze pages (There was a product page at #2). Some of these pages have as little as 19 backlinks!
Now I don't know if it's just my utter newbishness, but I feel my SEO-sense tingling. What do you guys think?
EDIT: It seems the phrase had a low PBR; there are 3600 global searches for the exact phrase.
