anyone has troubles sleeping?

Oh damn! I thought I was the only one. I haven’t had a good sleep for months now. Even when I tried to sleep on time I must wake up after 2-3 hours.

And when I slept late, I always wake up at exactly the same hour intervals. I don’t know what’s the cause of this. I only sleep well in the morning from 7AM to 10AM.

I really need a good solution to solve my bad sleeping habit.

You should adjust your diet, and don't overuse medication
How do you guys manage?

I am missing those good and long sleeps at nights in my school days, are you guys sleeping properly at nights?

I am trying many ideas, none seemed to work.

1. Stopped using phones at nights.
2. Gym and Cycling for 45 mins everyday.
3. Tried breathing excercises.
4. Tried pills but that makes the next day worse with drowsiness.

Recently I bought a sleep spray (melatonin 5mg) on Amazon, that kinda works well, but I am hesitant to use it on regular basis. Anyone had such issues before and resolved it later?

Yup, I often wake up feeling too tired. I take regular baths to relax and it works pretty well.

Yes.. I used to stay awake until morning everyday. But nowadays I sleep early and wake up at 3-4am

Uống thuốc ngủ và bạn sẽ có một giấc ngủ dài và mệt mỏi. Nếu bạn muốn ngủ ngon và sâu, hãy tập thể dục và chống đẩy.

Everyone is different, so you just have to keep trying things and finding combinations that work for you.

My problem used to be waking up between 4 and 5 AM and being unable to get back to sleep despite being sleepy.

Things that work for many but did not work for me:
  • glycine - gave me vivid dreams bordering on nightmares, I was still waking up
  • magnesium glycinate - same as above
  • melatonin - helped to fall asleep but was still waking up
  • theanine - helped to fall asleep but was still waking up
  • cardio in the form of Krav Maga training late evening - made me too excited to fall asleep, often took up to 1 AM to wind down
Combination of things that work for me:
  • 30-45 minutes of low to medium cardio (bike ride) around time of sunset
  • magnesium citrate 100 mg
  • apigenin 50-100 mg
  • regular aspirin 2-4 times a week
  • 1/2 or 1/4 of 3 mg melatonin tablet 1-4 times a week
  • some amount of carbs right before bed
or
  • having sex right before going to bed

I feel the key for me is cardio + apigenin + aspirin.

I came across the idea of taking aspirin on Twitter, where someone discovered that aspirin helps them stay asleep. The possible explanation was that people are waking up because of high cortisol, which can be related to high inflammation, and that aspirin helps to lower the inflammation.

You should give melatonin with magnesium a try. Seems to work a lot better than melatonin on it's own, even at lower doses. I had sleep issues (wake up multiple times) throughout college, and found out it was caused by late night eating. I stopped eating 3-4 hours before bed and have felt better since.

I've been staying up late for years now, often not going to bed until the sun rises. Has this affected my health? I don't think so.

I have the same sleeping problem and it hasn't been resolved yet. I now find a long video (such as Wilderness Survival) every night to help me fall asleep and listen to it while sleeping.

You probably have a sleep debt. It's a bit difficult to explain, but search on google about it. Don't worry you are at time to save it, you just need to work about it.

How many hours are you sleeping? some people only need 6 hours (example: Elon Musk). However, others need 8 hours (example: Jeff Bezos). The amount of hours you may need also changes because of your AGE (if you are a teenager you may need more). In my case, I actually need a minimum of 9+ hours of sleep. The how many hours you need, you can only discover by "trying". But if you are sleeping 6-7 hours, maybe you need 8-9 hours of sleep.

How many QUALITY hours do you sleep?

IT's important to mantain the quantity and at the same the quality, you can't sacrifice one.

Search about sleep cycles (usually happens each 90 minutes). If you are sleeping 8 hours and not working well, try 9 hours.

When you try new sleep routines, you don't try day by day, you need to stay fixed for a routine for 1 week in order for the sleep cycle to adapt and see the results.

Are you sleeping AT THE SAME TIME every single day?

You should stop using phones/computer/ or even TV at least 2 hours before sleep. Instead you can meditate, or read a book named "Why we sleep" by Matthew Walker. This book is really what you need to understand why we sleep, the dreams, and how you can solve your "sleep problems".

If "why we sleep" seems so simple to you, that's why you don't know who Matthew Walker is, or because you haven't read "Why we sleep" book.

Related to sleep pills, please avoid them. The why is explained in the book I mentioned earlier.
Also if you combine sleep pills + caffeine, that's a brain killer. Stop that.

Here are about few tips i don't know if you are already taking
=> Caffeine detox, avoid caffeine (specially if you take sleep pills).
=> Sleep at the same time everyday at your right sleep cycle. Each human has sleep cycle.
=> Sleep at the same time everyday
=> Sleep the right amount of time you need everyday.
=> Take a bit of SUN when you wake up. (Minimum 5 minutes, ideally 15~ minutes)

If you want to go hard core
=> Social Media Detox

This is something personal, i don't know if you are doing. But try not to jerk off everyday, that drains a lot of protein and energy. Search the term "Semen Retention".

Hope it helps <3 I took it seriously because "bad sleep" is a "silent dead"
Thank you so much for this. It's quite helpful for me. I barely sleep for up to 6 hours, and anytime I go to bed on time, I usually wake up every 2-3 hours intervals and won't be able to sleep back. Sometimes, I can manage to get up to 5 hours of sleep.

Now, this is me. At some point, I developed an eye problem because I used to work during those sleeping hours.

I stay up late every day because the night time is the only time that belongs to me
