I’m looking for some advice for cold email B2B (not spam or affiliate, just B2B prospecting).

I wanted to setup a VPS and install cyberpanel for email accounts (imap and smtp).

What is a good and affordable VPS provider where I can send cold emails with?

And is this method good at all? Or will it have terrible deliverability. Curious to hear your thoughts and advice!

The idea is good and cost-effective too, you can use OVH for the setup. There are many ways to send B2B cold emails, the main goal is for the email to reach the target audience.

Building your own SMTP server is a good idea if you have the skills, basic syslinux skills, DNS records, configuring powermta and mailwizz/mumara...

Alternatively you can use a solution that allows you to send using Gmail accounts and proxies.

Is powermta necessary for 50k emails a month? Or is a simple vps with cyberpanel/cpanel enough?

I use Contabo (for VPS + smtp..) + Mautic and Sky Email Sender ( to launch campaingns)

I have seen good deliverability with UpCloud, however, you need to get port 25 enabled for sending email, on top of that, technical things like setting up PowerMTA or even easier solutions like getting a cyber panel installed, in my honest opinion, it is not worthy if you are not experienced in it.

The best option to go for is Mailinabox. Its easy to setup does great inboxing for B2B emails. For Bulk emails - Go with PowerMTA or Postal server.

I came upon some suggestions before, even got advice from GPT on this. Downloaded one but it didnt have recent support on its software anymore. VPS provider that allows this is not all, Im only talking about their TOS. I wonder the best provider that allows mailing servers too and also other small details I wonder, like are you guys needing privt. proxies at this level for the mailings somewhere?

The solution of a SMTP server is wise if doing bulk mail I think to obtain numbers of 100,000 or more per mo. Problem is setting it up, but I downloaded and looked around. I have supporting tools for Dmarc/Contacts & such. I wanted to take this on again so I explored AutoGPT though it was not what I expected. It was command interface and needed my input so it wouldn't loop; anyways I tried to have it build something for me before that machine went down.

So whats the best server software? I got domains (.com's) on standby for new mail addresses. Needs IMAP definitely so I can have replies read inside my software business suite.
