This is my first thread.

My intent is to ask your opinion on Chaturbate's affiliate program and if I should split my advertising efforts with Stripcash and other less popular camsites. My frustration with Chaturbate has been growing lately and I believe other affiliates feel the same way because Chaturbate used to be the go-to pop-up and embed offers on most sites, and it has been replaced almost entirely, I don't see Chaturbate in ads anymore.

For context: I have been working adult affiliate programs since 2010. From all the programs out there I eventually settled for Chaturbate because it had a great conversion rate and they never shaved me. This worked pretty well for years, and I am still riding the wave of the high conversion rate from the past, I have really good earnings still. However, the rate of conversion has declined, the new accounts don't spend the same, the decline began around 2019 and my theory is this is due to Chaturbate changing the selection criteria (the algorithm) for the type of models they select to be featured in the promo tools. The models they pick now are terrible and don't drive conversions. I can elaborate on this if there is any interest.

For this reason I am shopping for a new sponsor. My main issue is TRUST. I was burned by CPA Networks pretty bad in the past, specifically CrakRevenue who shaved my leads and my revenue for YEARS and I let it slide until they simply closed my account with a shit excuse never to reopen it again, I lost 10 years worth of revshare accounts and all the earnings I had in my account. For this reason I am extremely cautious when trying out a new sponsor.

I want to ask the good people of BlackHatWorld what your experience has been with:

1) Stripcash
2) Bongacash
3) Camsoda

Are these reliable? Is the conversion rate better? Have you ever worked with Chaturbate as a sponsor?

Thank you for your insights.

I'm skeptical about this reasoning. Chaturbate has been around for ages and companies at that level tend to back up their decisions with a lot of split testing and data. If the tube sites were able to figure out recommendation algorithms, I'm sure CB has the resources to make something just as effective.

I started seeing my spenders start spending less around the same time as you. I think it was around the lockdown when OF really blew up which would make sense. Most of these girls don't have to cam anymore which takes a ton of organic traffic away from CB. The new wave is 1 to 1 facetime sessions. These girls get it straight to their cash app and don't have to sit on camera for hours. Now that I'm thinking of it, I've never seen a IG/Twitter model link to CB, it's almost always OF.

The internet changes every few years and it seems to be the new way simps want to spend their money. And you have to take saturation into consideration. CB has been advertising heavily for years, so they have to reach a peak at some point. The older generation simps have already signed up for an account. They got older, have bills, started a family, spend less with inflation these days, etc.

Nothing I can confirm though, just my observation.

Edit: Just to add, I heard about the saturation issue on another forum. A good chunk of those affiliates switched over to Stripcash and experienced better results.

It's understandable being skeptical, I would be skeptical of some new rando claiming things on an internet forum, too. And it's healthy to question anything you read.

My hypothesis is only in the realm of educated speculation. I don't work for Chaturbate and my knowledge of the inner workings of their onsite team are superficial. However, from trial and error and years of focusing on something you develop a sense for what works and what doesn't. If it wasn't this way nobody could guide themselves to earn more money as an affiliate. Eventually you learn there are things that succeed and things that fail and from my perspective it all changed in 2019 not because of Onlyfans, there have ALWAYS been content sharing platforms as a complement to camsites. Manyvids was huge too a few years before Onlyfans and it never got in the way of camsite conversions. This is a matter of their tools NOT WORKING and the reason they aren't working is because something fundamentally changed in the way they filter models in 2019. I can write an effort post on this, maybe I will.

To drive the point home, I have worked for 14 years in adult affiliate marketing, 10 of those on Chaturbate. I have been working almost exclusively with Chaturbate since 2013, and I know their affiliate program inside out. These are the stats of my program from a recent month, I cropped out the dates because I would like to remain anonymous so I can be as objective as possible on this forum and it would be too easy to identify me by a CB rep if I revealed the dates.

My numbers are still good as you can see, but on a closer inspection the vast majority of the accounts that are spending were signed up in 2018 or before. This explains the slow decline in revenue. And I think it has to do with the way CB is handling the promo tools because if the explanation was any of the things you mentioned we would see a decline was across the board, no affiliates promoting ANY camsites. This is not what we are seeing. What we are seeing is a new preference by affiliates for promoting Stripchat and Camsoda to the detriment of Chaturbate advertising. This suggests Stripchat and Camsoda are performing better.

I believe Stripchat is the better option currently, they have a wide range of chicks and they geo target models on the front page.

CB doesn't geo target models, they put the same ones on the front page - always the more popular ones which you get tired of seeing after a while.

Also, SC puts out promos every now and then and notify you about them, which CB apparently doesn't do - and if they do, they don't notify you.

I've been exclusively with CB since 2016, but as you mentioned and the previous comment verified... spending started decreasing around late 2019 and early 2020.

I have noticed that with CB there's periods when spenders flood in and then suddenly they stop... this is happening to me right now. After a 4 month run, they have suddenly stopped sending.

Anyway, your CB stats are impressive, I make pennies compared to you. I assume you promote through advertising? If so, you probably would probably have just as much luck, if not better, promoting SC.

CS has nice models, but a lof of look trashy AF and their website design looks terrible compared to CB and SC.

Is it waves of spenders, as in, plural or is it one big account spending a lot and driving your revenue up the one that disappears and you feel a big hit because of it?

You can have people who spend a lot and people who spend for a long time but they rarely will overlap. It is often the case that those big spenders are burning up their credit, or spending savings, or even taking a second mortgage on their home. Whatever the case, they eventually run out of money and it doesn't usually take long. Smaller fish with a habit are more reliable and ideally your program should be 1000s of small fish because it is stable revenue that way.

I have a few small fish and one big spender.

I've noticed that there's periods where the smaller fish start consistently spending for a few weeks and then suddenly they stop.

I thought that this might be due to CB running some sort of email campaigns, where they get noticed about token bonuses (X-amount more tokens with minimum purchase).

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'd just be surprised if they rolled out these changes and it wasn't working for them. I've seen plenty of companies make terrible decisions and go out of business, so that could be the case here.

Out of curiosity though, I checked out their stats and it looks like Stripcash is the larger platform right now with 160+ million monthly visits over CB.

I'm not sure what numbers CB was doing at their peak, but I'm guessing this is taking a good chunk of spenders and models away.

You are right on the money. This is why Chaturbate has added stupid geo flags and languages to the search tool now, to try and compete with Stripchat. Which is dumb since these used to be 2 different camsite models. Chaturbate should be doubling down on his original concept and sharpening all the affiliate promo tools to give webmasters and affiliates much more control over their ads, plus optimising the default model selection algorithm to maximise traffic and signups. Instead they are trying to bring traffic by making terrible web series on YouTube with 30k views per episode, launching lgbti initiatives and adding stupid flags to their homepage. I get the feeling it’s a bunch of “GenZ boss and a mini” women running the show because it’s all mismanaged so badly.

Seems like there aren't many adult affiliates on this forum... there seem to be only 2 people interested in talking about camsite sponsors.

1) Stripcash
Go with them. I have tried Bonga and Camsoda but it never really picked up good and. Bonga is mostly good for russian traffic and Camsoda never really converted at all for me. Not saying that it doesn't work, but it didn't work for me. Perhaps you should start split-testing your traffic that you send to CB.. 50% to CB, 50% to SC.

I think you should go with Stripcash as they are performing well and have better UI design not only for web but also for mobile and have better cam models with better targeting option, Few months ago I was also thinking to choose Chaturbate but dropped the idea as they are still stuck with same idea, doesn't wanna change with time !

BTW Are you a webmaster ?

Guys these stats are bad, right? This is from today (started promoting yesterday lol)

Even the countries are pretty good but conversion rate looks terrible.

Is it normal to have so low spenders in the first day of getting all these signups? Should I expect new spenders from same signups in the upcoming days or do they usually spend right after they signup?

Chaturbate - was best, before models started to steal spenders - you are working hard and making your referred users database - and later models steal them.
Stripchat - for now can be called as best, however has many (and big) chargebacks. Also, I do not like they API - it shows way too many chinese and japanese girls on aggregators.
Bongacams - not working (may work with RU speaking traffic).

Most signups don't spend immediately after signing up. But I believe the source of those signups could also play a role.

If I remember correctly, back when porn re-upload was a thing, a lot of the signups I got from tube sites would usually spend right away, because they were already primed and ready from browsing XV or PH.

This is not porn traffic, but still, majority of these signups are horny men from the US, I think they should have spent more, maybe my traffic isn't so good for cam sites. If I sent this traffic to Lospollos I would have probably made around 100$, I guess I'm gonna stick to smartlink networks for now, I'll still check the stats, in the upcoming days they may start spending.

You should send targeted traffic. I am getting 1:18 ratio (spenders:signups).

It is kind of targeted, they click and enter it with the hopes of seeing adult content, I don't understand why it would convert so low.
