Hello fwends!

i got this website ranking first on some really hard keywords, its mobile speed around 34 , hosted on a cheap siteground shared wp hosting, its styling looks scuffed and ugly.

i bought a vultr vps with good powerful specs, also revamped site styling into a more branded one, and improved my speed on mobile to 85 (can improve it even more!)

and now im paranoid if i swap hosting to new one , it will somehow negatively ruin my site or some shit? do i just go about it! :( ??

i didnt change content, just changed colors and improved speed

I migrated dozens of sites this year nothing negative happen. One thing you wanna make sure is that your site remains secure. I guess on vultr you are all by your own unlike siteground.

thank you for your reply sir! ♥

isnt basic cyberpanel and wordpress security settings enough with some cherry cloudflare on top? enough? isnt it rare to be hacked? also even tho you get hacked you can just change nameservers and you are back online right ?

This is not enough and I don't know what will be enough.
There are number of ways yout site your cyberpanel and your server can be hacked.
It's not a matter of chance as hackers your scripts that do a broad scanning of internet and automatically find vulnerabilities and exploit them.
By the time site gets hacked it's too late. They will create thousands of pages with links to dickpills, casino or replica sites and with in a day or 2 all the pages gets indexed in Google.
Changing nameservers will not remove the indexed pages from google as google stored them in cache. The site and domain gets wracked for long time. You will loose rankings, will be really hard to recover.
