DM Automation on Instagram

I need some help with setting up Automation on IG for DMs.

Firstly, is this possible at all?

I have tried to use Phnatombuster and IG DM Bot but both apps get my account flagged (we suspect you are using automation) the moment I load them up.

I know about Social Pilot (I use this for personal posting)

And then there is also SuSocial for other 'features' and other apps, but I'm looking to build 'outreach' via automated DMs.

I'm trying to figure this out to scale IG automation with multiple accounts and I'm not looking to 'spam' I just don't want to send hundreds of manual messages a day.

I spoke to IG DM Bot support and they were helpful, but its the standard issue stuff, like time intervals between DMs (which I increased drastically - with still the same 'automation flag')

Is there another app/tool/method/feature or something I am missing here.

I'm trying the automation on 'standard IG accounts' (nothing out of the ordinary - that I can see)

ANY information will be helpful.

How often are you sending individual DMs? Are you rotating different accounts?

Its definitely possible, the question is how do you want to get the list of people to DM. And your best option would be api access but you just have to test ratelimits while also not looking to much like a bot

I would also suggest that if you have a list of people already scraped, you can use a mass DM service to do this for you so your accounts aren't termd

its the standard issue stuff, like time intervals between DMs

because time intervals are bullshit, they are not even close as important as you would think.

99.99% of what people "think" they know about Instagram here on forums is bullshit too

I've seen only a couple who truly know their stuff and they will keep their mouth shut and never will give you answers to your questions, I can guarantee there will be at least a couple who will start claiming here that you need to use mobile proxies only to promote their proxy service banner in their signature space

If you don't want to spend countless hours of trying to crack what exactly Instagram is looking for when you automate account, just go with marketplace, just couple minutes ago there was a new seller offering cheap Instagram DMs

yeah, I have multiple accounts, both persoanl and purchased, plus company accounts (these are all 'warm')

With the automation I set it to send 1 message between every 5 and 20 minutes.

The thing is. If I go and DM just manually, I can do 10 in a minute you know... I've tested a few limits with manual 'pushing'

I use Modash and I have list of thousands of possible accounts to 'reach' so that is not the problem. most apps also have a CSV upload and I can put them in there.

in terms of API what do you mean for IG?

Try to scale the number of dms sent per account to librate the account from getting suspend.

The accounts are not 'suspended' - it's just that everytime I setup a DM automation then the accounts gets a little pop up saying - we detect automation on your account. then I remove it and it's 'fine'

for the past month, I have run manual testing on limits on accounts in terms of DMs, follows, likes, comments, everything.. so the picture is more clear for me in terms of what not to do for suspension and bans. but I need to setup automation for DMs

my personal account I can hit 50 in an hour, too fast and I get limited then I need to wait. a little slower then I can do about 100 a day. if I stagger it 'naturally' I have gotten to 120 DMs. this is all manual.

For Automation I would be happy with 1 per hour if I can get it working....

A more abstract question regarding this: I've always been curious about this - what's the general thought process when you're trying to figure out how an anti-bot works? You clearly have a knack for this. What questions do you ask yourself? How do you model the problem in your head when trying to solve it?

Your accounts get flagged because you are sending too many DMs in a short period of time.

You clearly have a knack for this. What questions do you ask yourself? How do you model the problem in your head when trying to solve it?

I try to imagine how things looks from other side, what the site can do and how probably would they store or check the data, etc

Why dont you use VA's for this? It will be manual work, super cheap and no issues with blocks too.
