Hi guys,

I'm from Brazil and around here they always say that we are 5 years behind in relation to digital marketing in the United States, and I was curious about an apparently "saturated" strategy out there, which is affiliate marketing Pay-Per-Click (PPC).

I haven't found much content around this yet, and especially none that is very informative, and I would like to hear from those of you who drink from this source.

In my opinion, it's a wonderful opportunity because if you only get paid for clicks instead of purchases, isn't that very OP? But I know that not everything is rosy and I would like to know the "bad things" and disadvantages of this market, especially for beginners like me, for example:

  1. If I affiliate with a PPC product and run traffic on a PPC network (google, bing, etc.) then isn't that a bit too powerful?

  2. Are the costs for campaigns and clicks in these types of affiliations expensive or something like that?

  3. What if I ran a campaign on Facebook Ads for example to get the highest number of clicks on my affiliate link, is it possible? Is it profitable?

  4. From the little I found in Google articles about this, I saw that one of the difficulties in this market is the high number of frauds and things like that, is that true? Any suggestions to increase security?

And mainly:

5. Can you recommend Videos/YouTube Channels/Communities/Blogs so I can deepen my knowledge about this?

Thx.

first of all, thank you for answering my questions, in relation to the first question I wanted to say something about the feeling of being self-sustainable, because in my opinion, if I am just about receiving clicks on the ad, and running these ads on a PPC network like google, so doesn't that mean it's relatively self sustainable?

(I know there will be a difference between what I earn from clicks as an affiliate and the ad click costs, but still, it seems more self-sustainable than more common methods, you know?)

It seems like a much more friendly model for those who don't have a lot of money to invest than models where you only receive your commission if there is a sale (The overwhelming majority of affiliate models here in Brazil.).

And I would like to come forward with another question, do you know of any good safe platforms with products for me to affiliate with, without having to worry about fraud, not receiving the commission and things like that?

thx
