What do you think of a good domain to buy that was previously a 301 redirect to another site?

No these domains normally do not have much value. We have tested this for our private PBN. Better buy expired domains that had content on them.

310 to where? I built a site on a domain that was 301 for 13 years, but it was a legitimate 301 for the same company. If that is the case, go for it. If the 301 was blackhat and used for SEO gains then it is probably a good idea to let this one go.

it had content for 5 years from 2010 to 2015. From 2015 till now it seems it was 301 to a related site.

if you are building (money site) on similar topic as of the expired domain 301 redirected, then you can redirect it to your money site. But, before that, install a homepage with similar content as of yours on that expired domain, let it get indexed, add it to your GSC and Bing, same account where your money site is added. Let the expired domain bake for 3-6 months, send some backlinks, and then redirect it to your money site.

if your are trying to redirect a health related domain to your tech related money site, then it will bring more negative link juice and gaining something positive, as google's new spam update considers this spamming technique to manipulate rankings.

Doesn't matter if it was 301 to another site. All that matters is its backlink profile and whether it was penalized ever before.

it's a good choice, but make sure to check the backlink strength and whether the domain is niche relevant

It only provides less value to your site. Most of the link juice and power will be transferred to the old redirected domain. If you still want to try you can use it and I don't recommend it.

I would not use a previously 301 redirected domain. It is pretty much used up now.
