What do you think of a good domain to buy that was previously a 301 redirect to another site?
it had content for 5 years from 2010 to 2015. From 2015 till now it seems it was 301 to a related site.310 to where? I built a site on a domain that was 301 for 13 years, but it was a legitimate 301 for the same company. If that is the case, go for it. If the 301 was blackhat and used for SEO gains then it is probably a good idea to let this one go.
it's a good choice, but make sure to check the backlink strength and whether the domain is niche relevantWhat do you think of a good domain to buy that was previously a 301 redirect to another site?
Only way to check for penalties is by buying it and linking to search console though right. Check from thereBefore buying a 301 redirected domain, make sure to check the following:
- Relevance: That domain is relevant to your niche.
- Previous Web History: Review the domain’s history to see what content was previously hosted.
- Backlink Profile: check the backlink profile's quality and relevance.
- Keywords: Check it is ranked for relevant keywords
- Cleanliness: Check if there have been any penalties in the past.
