I'm part of a project within the fintech space. Very small startup but we've secure a few points that **really** make us stand out. This does not change the fact that the space is overcrowded.
We're bootstrapping funds for our main service-on-demand offering, and in this process we've came to the realization we have the network to start an Asset Backed Token.

As appealing as it first sounded, we're hitting the same damn wall.. marketing. Getting the leads of the people we need. Our type of customers. And doing this in a cost effective way. (FB/META is a waste of time for anything in our niche. This is a fact.).

We've looked at some launchpads, but its so hard to figure out which ones are trapping and which do deliver on their end.
Not to mention that we've seen the top launchpads asking for eye watering upfront fees. We thought of course to go onto a DEX and launch, but the waters are full of piranhas. And to hire a Market Makers, is financially prohibitive, to put it nicely. And all goes to the same root: funding. Which we lack, that's why we're starting this in the first place, to bootstrap funding.

SUGGESTIONS PLEASE on how to reach out to potential participants / buyers of tokens (be it in pre-sale or post-launch).
ANYBODY with *ACTUAL Experience* in this field, please drop a comment with recommendations, advice or offers.

Thank you

Thank you
following this thread.

Wish you luck,

Gonna be hard doing this without money as you are asking a million-dollar question (perhaps even more)

Maybe it's best for you to pick a couple of meme coins and reverse-engineer their beginning days... these projects are always running some obscure and uncommon operations to get eyes on their projects. But lots of them are community driven of course... all legit utility projects have funds to start.

First of all, Thank You for the wishes.

Indeed, this whole space is upside down.
The token is/will be backed by actual Assets. Quite easily provable and always visible, no room for interpretation, or 'rug pulls'.

In normal circumstances, people (by people I say traders, investors) would jump on this. However, we've seen in initial talks everybody is afraid to be burned. If we start posting noise on social media, I'm really of the oppinion we will just draw bad attention not good attention.

This is quite a product! I'm really really hopeful there's a board, a launchpad, something that can allow listing in a reasonable manner, without asking for eye watering fees (upfront or backend).

p.s. DEX pools seem so easy to access but the reality its very easy to get ourselves in a mess. Even if we start with a 15000 to 25000 initial liquidity, it so easy to have it drainned. Market Makers are just unaccessible price wise.

@INCC have you used or know of launchpads with provable trackrecord that don't charge an arm upfront.

P.s. we're not a meme coin, so some launchpads only cater to that field.

I have used launchpads for scouting and research only.

Most of these launchpads are full of terrible projects, I almost never find anything good that I have been personally interested in, but since I offered my services to the project owners, I didn't really care what they built as I never put my own money in these launchpads... years ago I threw a couple of hundred to some of them but that was it.

I think if you can't seem to find a decent launchpad through Google then it likely doesn't exist (at least on terms you set above).

@INCC I see you're doing PR. Does article posting in this space (crypto) convert?
I'm well acquitend with PR and its role and results within the fin space, but I would expect things to be different for crypto projects.

It will rarely convert.

Even if you go with big outlets such as Forbes, it's naive to think that there are buyers reading these articles and waiting to ape in.

Projects that do have money lying around use PR for social proof and nothing more than that. It's great to pander to your investors that you have been featured in Forbes but that doesn't yield almost any results.

One of the options for you is to pay for KOLs on Twitter and Telegram, and by TG I mean those who actually have a real following and market your presale through them (if you have found your launchpad) but using a launchpad alone won't get you far.

Lots of projects are thinking what you are that they just use a launchpad and that will be it, what happens is that they don't even reach softcap with this strategy. Launchpads are used so the customers can get their funds back if there are not enough interested parties so that has become more like a security feature.

So you need KOLs to promote your presale via launchpad and hope that the softcap will be reached and if you manage to fill both SC/HC then use part of those funds as liquidity. I think some launchpads have that option automatically available that a percentage of LP goes into lock (another security feature)

15-25 K is likely still way too little... the KOLs are going to eat that up in an instant.

Thanks again for the indept explanation.
KOLs you mean Influencers I gather.

If yes, then that's not a way that would garner any credibility for a ABT, unless we invest to sign some top financial guru.

If you haven't a lot of money then you can try to create your own community for the project. Works hard in TW and TG creating your own community, connections... and generating content to inform about your project and creating excitement.
You can try to create connections with microinfluencers maybe someone who likes your project and talks about it without paying him. You can do AMA´s with them, etc...
You can search for JV´s with people to promote it.
Try to do promotions in TW type: Free $500= $50 for 10 wallets that Like, RT, follow and comment with his wallet.
Since everything in IM is time or money, if you don't have money to pay for ads, you can slow it down manually. Also, you can leverage hiring with VAs.
And a lot more things working hard, you need to be creative to create the snowball.
About PR, I think the same, it can work to show confidence, credibility... no people to buy your tokens.

I could take your money and tell you that it will benefit your project but honestly, it won't help you.
As I said above, I'm well acquited with how 'effective' PR is for the Financial Services sector.
Punt intendend.
I gathered its pretty much the same for the crypto space.

But thanks for the re-confirmation.

Thank you for your input.
Yes, will look at doing JV post.

A couple of mentions:
This is not a memecoin.
TG is nothing else but a echo chamber. It really it.

Microinfluencers are good for memecoins and lotteries and casinos.
If we recurse to them, it would only end up hurting us.

If a major 'influencer' that's oriented on finance (not crypto) would accept a deal, then we might have something. But I'm reserved.

If you're going to sell it to US customers, make sure to check SECs website.

Offering unregistered securities to us citizens=bad time

My aim is to get any insight to a channel or method that exposes the project to investors. By any means. And its worth mentioning that yes, we're very opened to joint ventures if they are based in reality, and not asking for the impossible.

If you're going to sell it to US customers, make sure to check SECs website.

Offering unregistered securities to us citizens=bad time
We will **definitely NOT** touch anything in Us, Canada (and few others).

Leaving budget aside. What would be the Number One avenue or strategy or both, that would propel a legitimate project in front of the largest audience possible?

If budget isn't a concern then it's always an airdrop.

Need to market that airdrop too obviously.

But you can lock the airdropped tokens via contract for a certain period so they won't sell them off immediately.

An airdrop is sending/spending tokens and taking in consideration these are/will be actual Asset Backed Tokens, this can end up costing us quite a bit, as we as a company underwrite the deal for the issuance of these tokens.

However, that vesting period similar to shares is a great input @INCC. Thank you for that. If this is something that takes shape you'll be on the Airdrop List.

Do you have team?

If not don't waste your time.

A team. Well yes. I thought thats self evident.
This is a Asset-Backed-Token.

An actual physical valuable asset, that offers a value anchor.
The tokens are/will be designed to offer convertability back to the asset.

And yes, our team though relatively small, is quite a standard 'size' judging by standards in the Fin world. Not sure about the crypto world, as I've seen projects where you fall asleep reading thru the names of the ''founders'' and their ''amazing'' achievements.

Team that is good. Once I tried to do token alone, it was nightmare, and I left idea.
What about liquidity? You have enough funds?

Hi @ qdza
You've probably missed the points I made above.
We're a FinTech firm (startup stage). We do have a team. Not tech devs. But people qualified and licensed to do their job within the Fin space.

This ATB is a hybrid product we're looking at developing to bootstrap funds for our on-demand service suite platform. Existing funding and cashflows are going to this as its our main product. The ATB is only meant to generate cashflows. Feed the dev of our main product (service).

Thru our network we developed the connection with the AP/AO to underwrite and create these tokens.

Read my points above about our conclusions on DEX/CEX listings, and the 'usefulness' of liquidity.

Thanks
