Why does a person develop ego when they receive a higher position or designation?

I could give examples of this that would have people pulling there hair out about the traversty off it all. mean real golden spoon stuff and they still managed to f things up for the egos sake.l in some cases.

On the other hand, people that graft, do any job or project, even if it kicks their ass and can say ‘I gave it my best shot’ tend to take any failure or criticism on the chin at the worst of times, or as a learning experience at best.
First example is getting rich from heritage, second example is working hard to become an engineer or innovator.

Well, you can have both, but that's rare.

You're reputed member + have good knowledge, please don't feel offend from my replies.
I´m not offended, it seems like you are rather delusional of being a new member that thinks you are targeted somehow though.

My last answer was sarcastic since we all have been in your position and newbies that done shit we did get warned by, has nothing to do with ego´s of Mods. They are just following rules and would not do their job right otherwise.

What happened to you here?
1: My post was deleted 20-30 for rule breach 3.5
"They say you should welcome the user in the different ways."

2: Yesterday, I received warning points for creating two giveaways and including a link to a site that I occasionally use to prevent the giveaway link from being patched. I was warned for violating the 3.5 rule. When I asked the moderator for clarification, they told me to open a ticket if I disagreed with the warning.

The next moment, my second giveaway post was deleted with the explanation that the link I shared had a lot of ads. I told the moderator that I didn't see any ads on my end and offered to record my screen and provide proof, but I received no response (I was ignored).

Hi! Like the title says.
I believe that we are all human beings and should be friendly to everyone. I believe that what we do to others will come back to us in similar ways.

So my question is, why does a person develop an attitude and tries to assert their power when they are in a position to help others? Instead of being supportive, they make others feel inferior to them.

I am feeling sad about what has been happening to me on BHW for the past 2-3 days. :(
You don't need to pay attention to how others behave. We are all different with our own character. The only important thing is that you go towards your goal and make your small victories every day.Be less offended by others and do not try to change them in any way. Better become better yourself and prove to yourself that you are a winner in this life.

My time is my contribution
check your posts again that is not contribution

that is rule breaks

3.5 Engaging in post count inflation by posting excessive amounts of short replies for the sole purpose of inflating your post count. This includes the infamous “thanks for the share.” (If you’d like to say “thanks” to someone for their effort/contribution, make use of the Like button).

And mod are doing their jobs. They aware of your spams and cleaning up forums. So your spam post sorry contribution need to be something useful.

Dont blame mod they know what they are doing

I don't get how much effort is being put here in self-defense and how little effort was put into other posts. What!

It's kind of late.
Sorry, I can not post it in Polish here since I would brake the rules, otherwise I would written KURWA and you would get it.

I really missed old ban hammer which is lost during bhw upgrade.

So, did you stick to the rules and open a ticket?
I received a response confirming that the warnings are legitimate and will not be removed. I can even share a screen recording to show that no ads are displayed on the site from my end. If I'm mistaken, please allow me to correct myself and edit my post. It's disheartening when you try to contribute and your thread gets deleted without a chance.

I received a warning for 3.5. I understand the first time, but the second time (only for creating giveaways??).

I informed them that they can revoke my marketplace privileges as I have no intention of selling anything on BHW. I joined the forum and I'm enjoying it, that's all. I have no intention of increasing my post count artificially. ( Replied create ticket and ignored the second reply about screen record)

Thanks, and yes, you are right. I was just trying to get things out of my head so I can relax.

Alcohol interferes with the brain's communication pathways, and can affect the way the brain looks and works. These disruptions can change mood and behavior, and make it harder to think clearly and move with coordination.

Yes, we need more alcohol.
